Patato's Best Bets For all you couch Patatoes !

Ok ! This is new stuff to me so Bare with me okay ! I'm gonna try to Rent videos every week ( if My mom lets me ) and Tell you my best bet for the weekend. It may not be new movies but THEY WILL be cool ! The reason why I won't be able to go to the movies like every week is the following : I live in the Canadian Area 51 ! There's no Theaters around, there's only a couple of Renting places. I'll try to go to BlockBuster's once in a while to get the newest stuff ! Okie Well You've read this now so On with the show huh !?

Ok, This Weeks Best movie ( judged by lill' ol' me ! ) is The Lost World ...

This movie is Really cool, the special effects are so real, you even feel like they filmed real live dinosaurs ( now That's technology for ya ! )
Although many people I talked with said they liked the first one better I dissagree. I actually liked the second one best. The plot is easier to understand ( and thus some people may juge this a boring ). What I think makes this Film so unique is the fact that the dinos come to America and Our lives are threatened by it, how it would impact on us ! ( this is fiction though ! but hey ! Ya never know ! ). I also love the author, Micheal Crichton is really good at writing ! I have read many of his books ( such as: Congo, Jurrasic Park, Disclosure and Sphere ) and I think he is one of the Best authors in the 20th Century. But Rememeber that the books are always better than the movie. The part that was most pitifull in this movie was whitout a doubt the acting, the dialog was really not that empressive. I really like the Lost wolrd, It is Better than the First one Cuz of More Dinos and action. I love Dinos and They rule!!!! My Fav part was when T-Rex Came to San Deigo and the little boy saw him and went to his parents room and SAid "Mommy , Mommy There is a Dinosaur outside" and she did not belive him so the like went out side and the Bark was Gone!!!!!!! That Rules!!! hehe, I love what they did and Brung the Dinos to the USA it is about time

It was like jurrassic park in alot of ways but different too. One thing i didnt understand was why the dinosaurs lived cuz they couldnt live with out that umm one stuff that the people gave them but i liked it alot though.

Briefly the movie was OK but it was not as good as the book. The Book is like totally better than the movie. Jurassic Park was better. The stuff that happened in the sequel was too unbelivable. I mean do ya think someone would bring a dinosaur into the city???? I don't think so. It could of been better.

good movie, but unlike the first one it wasn't all that scary..well, except for maybe one part but otherwise not really that scary. Even MTV made fun of that movie (i.e Jay Leno) but Vince Vaughan (is that the guys name?) is pretty hot..:*)

It was good movie if you liked eye-candy and special effects, but it lacked the magic that the original had. The ending was very good, nothing like you would have expected.

It was way scarier than the other, but the plot line was really cheesy and a little hard to believe. The best part was T-Rex running down the streets of San Diego and then the little Japaneese men looking up at him...and yelling....just like in Godzilla....WHAT A SPOOF!!!!

Remember now, this is updated weekly, Next week Will probably be about this book I read: April Fool's Day, I just have to find the video !
