AJ Quartermaine (shown here with Gerald Hopkins playing the role) was an alcoholic with alot of deeply rooted problems. As the biological son of Monica and Alan Quartermaine, life was difficult having 2 doctors as parents, enough money around to buy the world, and a "perfect" sibling in Jason Quartermaine. It's been a long haul to sobriety.
