Yeah! That's the culprit! That's her! Medda!

Name a creative way to kill Medda, the Swedish Meadowlark:

[editor: Yup, this is question is ONLY meant in fun, thanks to all who answered anyway.]

Jess: Garrote with piano wire

Ali: Plant little explosive devices in her costumes that are set to go off by certain words, like "shest"

Jen: While she's swinging on that cheap swing of hers one of the ropes snap and she plumets to her death.

Any other comments you had:

Jess: Ivan is God and the Triumvirate remain his holy disciples!
[editor: Amen!]

Ali: Um. Hmm. Where do I start? We love Ivan, that's kind of obvious, isn't it? The characters he plays seem to be only background ones, but that's okay! It makes trainspotting fun (you haven't lived until you've watched Newsies and pointed and shouted "DUTCHY!" at the top of your lungs every time he appears on screen.) Background characters hold more intrigue, and they're sexy, and they can dance and sing, too. What more do you want in a man? Ivan is our own personal big of god-dom. we love and will continue to love his work, whatever it may be, and we will keep this page alive so that others may know the joys of Ivan. The end.
[editor: And happily ever after!]

Jen: I love him, the fact that he sings [and] dances is so cute! I wish he weren't so old but I can deal...if you ever read this Ivan (yeah right but I can dream) e-mail me...Chow!
[editor: Ivan isn't old!!]

Juno: I can't express how good looking he is, but all I know is that he is VERY hot in Newsies and I'm glad my friend showed it to me because now I know there is someone like him out there!
[editor: Don't worry Juno, no one can express how good looking he is.]

Kelli: I LOVE DUTCHY!!!!!!!!!! He is so hot. I think he looks like a really sweet guy. I think that's it.

Deb: He is EXTREMELY talented. How come we don't see him do more movies or tv shows?
[editor: Deb, you're so right. Why dont't we see more of him? Its a conspiracy, I tell you! A conspiracy!]

Cowboy: Dutchy looks like he could be cool and very intelligent
[editor: And speaking of intelligent, whatever Cowboy said here probably was more intelligent, but I was half asleep and on the phone. Oh well, she doesn't have a computer yet, she can't get me! :) ]

Skittery: IVAN IS SUCH A CUTIE!
[editor: Hey, no need to shout it! We all agree. :) ]

Tootsie: Ivan is the most yummy person ever to set foot on this earth...Ivan could play any character in the world. He's totally capable...Ivan is the most yummy, sexy, gorgeous, hot, talented person ever. Ivan deserves this page. Ivan deserves a shrine. What about Dudynskyism as a major religion? Or does Ivanism sound better?
[editor: Okay, first off, my apologies for editing Tootsie's comments, but (admit it Tootsie) she got a little verbose. Second, yup, we all agree he's yummy. And as for the religion and the shrine? What do you think DutchyWeb is?

Dodger: IVAN IS GREAT, AND THERE ISN'T ANYTHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT!
[editor: You're so right.]

Michelle: Ivan is awesome. Need I say more?
[editor: Nope, I don't think so!]

Alexandra: You already said it all. 'Tanks.

(-:

Well, an adjective anyway - ideal male sex-symbol personified.
[editor: You're welcome. And great adjective. Ever think of using your descriptive skills in Spot's Poetry Corner?]

Amy: I have loved Ivan since the end of 1994, when i started watching Roundhouse. I now have 43 episodes on tape and watch them frequently. I noticed how his hair got better in the middle episodes, but in the end, he needed a hair cut. He was so cool on all the shows, but my favorites are War, Talent show, the last one, and justice. He is so cute in those suspenders in the justice episode. He is also such an excellent dancer. They could have had a strictly dance show and i would have been happy. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves him and at the same time, I'm sad, because in the delusional part of mind, I thought he was just mine. (he still is), but I'm willing to share. You guys do have a web page for him. I'm just a meer fan.
[editor: He might have needed a hair cut in your opinion, but have you seen his cropped mop in the Mountain Dew commercial?? Give me any season of Roundhouse any day! We're glad you're willing to share. Visit any time!]

2nd Time: Ivan RULES! He's so cool he leaks freon.
[editor: Agreed. And thanks for taking the survey again! :)]

Leann: He's really good in everything he does.
[editor: I certainly can't argue with that!]

Adge: What secret government agency do you girls work for? I want to work a deal with you. Ivan. What can I say. I met the man, back when he was touring full time with Tremaine. He was only 19 then though. Funny, lanky, sweaty kid. :) He's why I started watching Roundhouse. It amused me so much how he'd mess up his own choreography.
[editor: Eeep! The Triumvirate is jealous! You've met Ivan!! And we can't tell you what agency we work for or it wouldn't be a secret any more. :) ]

Maria: I only really know him as Dutchy, and I always thought that he was a sweetie as Dutchy!
[editor: Dutchy does certainly seem to be a sweetie, doesn't he? If you ever get a chance, pick up some Roundhouse. And watch for his new show, GROUND ZERO.]

Peanut: I think that Ivan needs more publicity...then we can all have lots of reasons to skip classes and go "Dutchy hunting"!
[editor: Any reason to skip class is good--er, you didn't hear that from me (the burned out firstyear) but you're right! gosh darnit, Ivan needs more publicity--maybe if/when his new shows come out...]

Erin: Gee...I loved Ivan through it all, though I never got to see all 52 episodes of Roundhouse. As a Newsie, he rocked my world. As Zach Anykid, well, he made me cry...all the way down to his sad little speech. I loved the PETS episode (even though they teased me...I still think he should have sung for me...)and the Talent Show...(he should have won..even though Amy rocks the house)...And remember that time he played the Sting character on the Earth episode (singing)ONE, Chance to save the earth...), and that time he played air guitar that John gave him. The best Ivan episode however will always be the episode on gangs...but only at the end, where me and Amy cried together.(She was my Roundhouse buddy and the only girl I have ever know who actually created a round house for us and the cast (including the band) to sleep in. She got to share a room with Dom, I got to share with Ivan...what great memories) I grew up loving Ivan, but I never grew out of loving Ivan (obviously...I AM 18!!)...That's all I guess...
[editor: That certainly says it all about Roundhouse...]

Sprite: I loved Roundhouse first, but then I discovered Ivan. I watched the show religiously for two years, and I have to say that he's adorable as the brother. Actually, he's adorable all of the time. The band geek is probably my favorite character of all time.
[editor: You've hit the nail on the head, Sprite: "he's adorable all of the time." But Lewis, yes, well, now there's the one band geek I could fall for...]

Michelle#2: nope, sorry. too tired to. but one thing- as dutchy, he was a klutz (the end)
By the way- kloppman, denton, the nuns and the delancy bros. aren't newsies. and patrick wasn't either. it was just that his mom wanted to find him 'cuz he ran away. but he really wasn't a newsie, at least not that anyone knows from just seeing the movie.
[editor: Ahem. We're quite aware that Kloppman was the proprietor of the Lodging House, that the Nuns had their religious vocation, and that the Delancy brothers preferred to beat up newsies than sell with them. We also know that Patrick was in no way defined as a newsboy, (though the members of the Triumvirate have their theory on who he was.) The reason, to clarify, that those characters were added in our survey is merely because the three of us were tired of going to other people's surveys and not finding Dutchy listed, so we tried to be very complete. Perhaps we should have labelled it "Favorite Non-Dutchy Character" but no one has complained, and they realize that this list, as well as just about everything else on this page, is done in the spirit of fun.

Laura: He is cute, but he is seventeen years older than me.
[editor: True, but he's only...oh, ten years older than the members of the Triumvirate... and hey, with our ages added together, we're way older than he is!]

Jenna: Do I have a right to comment? I made the page. Ah well. I think Dutchy/Ivan is awesome and the best dancer I've ever seen. =)
[editor: Oops, I don't have anything to comment on my comment.]

That's all! Thanks for taking the survey! New answers will be added all the time, so, heck, take it again, if you wanna!
