Homer and his friends at the Nuclear Power plant are having a usual coffee break. When Homer is walking his way out, he sees the sign about softball season. The Power Plant's team never did well but Homer still gets them to join. They win all the games against everyone else because Homer is using his bat, Wonderbat. The team makes it to State championship against Shelbyville's Power Plant's team. Mr.Burns bets the owner of the Shelbiville nuclear power plant, Ari Amadopolis that his team will be victorious. Mr.Burns bets him a million dollars a game. He then goes out and assembles the best team of Major Leaguers. The line up is:

On game day, everyone can't make it except Darryl Strawberry, who plays Homer's position. Mr.Burns has to use his real employees except Homer Simpson. In the 9th inning, score tied, bases loaded, Mr.Burns decides to pinch hit for Darryl Strawberry. Homer is on. He gets too distracted from Mr.Burns' signs that he gets hit by the pitch. Homer gets automatically on base and the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is victorious
