The first TV transmissions occured between 1928 and 1935. These pictures were just 30 lines that made a picture. It did not have any detail and it is called the Low Defenition system.
The High Defenition TV was invented in 1936. This system had 405 lines. In 1964, they made a even BETTER TV that was made of 625 lines. It was better for most brodcasting companies and gave higher picture resolution
The Black and White Television is a TV with tiny dots, when seen together, make a picture. They change their shades of gray to adjust to the color of the picture.
When the info from a television satellite or tower reaches your TV set, how does your TV reproduce the images on the screen? The answer is the Picture Tube. The Picture Tube puts out certain lights when the radio beams hit it. The Tube is very powerful and can recieve 25 pictures per second!!!
You would think that making a color TV should be extremely easy because you just have to change the B&W dots to color. But it is much more complicated than that. You need to change the dots into the primary colors red, blue and yellow. Since all colors are made from these, you can now make all the colors and your TV is complete.
Who knows what the future holds for the Television Set. 3D TV?
