Christa Ryan - 06/26/00 05:40:53 My Email:cryan@play.psych.mun.ca Favorite Prisoner: my absolute fave is Cyril O'Rielly because he is such a sweetie, but his brother Ryan is a close second-you gotta love his charm and that grin, and the way he is the biggest shit disturber in the whole friggin' prison with the sh rpest brain to boot Favorite Hack: I loved Metzgar even though he was a shit (I LOVE the scene where he was callin' down the inmates after Mark Mack and that other dickhead were killed - "I'm gonna put one of you goddamn cocksuckers in the next fuckin hole we find...w o wants a shovel, huh?....Goddammit!!!"), but I also love the Warden for his levelheadedness and McManus for his visions and ideals (however they might be evolving). Favorite Episode: I can only pick favotite scenes, and since there are so many great ones in every episode, there's no way you can pick one particular show What should happen to Wittelsey?: I'm with McManus on this one...I don't think she should be put in jail, but I still feel that she wasn't entirally justified in doing what she did (maybe if Ross had been coming at her...the main reason it doesn't it right with me is that it seems that she didn't do it in self defense(even in protecting Tim), but because it was finally a way of getting rid of Ross for good, ie she did it for the wrong reason, but used a good one to explain it) | Comments: I LOVE OZ!!!! I love everything about it..the writing, the characters, the actors....EVERYTHING!!! It is so facinating to watch the changes in the characters across the seasons (if you're like me, and started watching in the third season, it's like some k nd of culture shock when you start watching the season one episodes and see #1 - how many characters were present in the early shows but got killed off, and #2 - how the surviving characters have changed as a result of their time in Oz...I went into fits f laughter when I saw the original McManus, and thought Beecher was a totally different inmate).
