Since this is where it fits best, I'd just like to say that the guy who sang the opening song was Les Claypool from Primus. He has always wanted to write for a cartoon, and finally got the chance with this one. He started working on the project three years ago, I think.(thanks to Nate for this info, and blame him if it's wrong).
These are the main characters of South Park. The one all the way on the left is Cartman. As you can most likely tell, he's the fat one, and he also likes eating cheesy poofs and snacky cakes, along with chocolate chicken pot pies. The next one (second from the left) is Kenny, who always wears the same muffled coat. He's the lucky one that gets killed each episode, in different creative ways. He also can't talk since the coat muffles his voice (His dad died too, he comes back though). But from how everyone else responds to what he says, we can tell he's pretty perverted. Then the one in the orange and green is Kyle, the smart one. Oh, and Kyle's Jewish. He's the one that gets straight As, and along with Stan, figures out the profound moral of each episode. Finally, all the way on the right is Stan. He's generally the boss of the group. He also has the gay dog.
This is the chef of the school cafeteria. He's the old wise figure who gives advice to the boys when they're confused. He also sings a love song each and every episode.
Hear chef's song about Kathy Lee! This is Mr. Hat. It's Mr. Garrison's "friend" who lives on his hand. Mr. Garrison and Mr. hat have many meaningful discussions. Mr. Hat is still undergoing psychiatric treatment since he tried to kill Kathy Lee. This is Kyle's brother Ike. As you can see, the other picture is of Kyle and Ike playing a game called "kick the baby!". Ike was only featured really in the first episode, when he got abducted by aliens after following Kyle to school. And this is friendly Mr. Garrison, who teaches the children in school. He's a very good role model for impressionable young minds. He also just acts gay to get chicks, or so he says. He's seen here in the Kathy Lee Gifford episode. And this, is Jesus, the son of god, who has his own talk show in South Park! Well I think you all know who he is....he's a minor character in most episodes. That's surprising considering he's the son of god. This is Stan's gay dog Sparky, attempting to umm....let's just say play with another dog. Sparky's the one that's on top. After finding him at big gay Al's big gay animal sanctuary, Stan accepted Sparky as gay. He was featured in one episode but not really an important character lately. This is Jimbo, stan's uncle and the owner of the local weapons shop. He's seen here on a hunting trip when he took the boys to the volcano. That's all I'll say about that. The person here is Stan's sister Shelly...who just got headgear. She likes to take out her frustrations about that out on stan, as she occasionally beats him senseless or runs him over with a lawn mower. This is Elton John. He had a cameo appearance in one of chef's songs. The one that made an elephant make love to a pig. This is Death. Yup, Death was one of the many cameo celebrities that have visited South Park. He also had the honor of killing Kenny! He was in the episode with Terrence and Philip. This is the mayor of South Park. She's a very good mayor, and really cares about the town. She also enjoys advancing her image in society(or at least attempting to), and firing assistants. Her media presence is always perfect, but she usually has them edit out a few things so that the emotions are more realistic. This is Ned, Jimbo's old war buddy, who usually goes everywhere with Jimbo. He lost lots of things in the war, so he has to use a machine to talk, making an interesting voice. He also plays a great cancer kazoo. This is Starvin Marvin from the episode appropriately titled: Starvin Marvin. He was a starving African boy who was sent to Stan and the rest of the kids instead of a watch. He lived with them for a while, then pretended to be Cartman before going home. This is the famed geneticist from up on the hill. He created the big stan that destroyed the town, and the mad turkeys. He also made the amazing four assed, and five assed monkeys. This is one of the many enraged turkeys that terrorized South Park on Thanksgiving. Well that's it for now.
