Chapter 1

Alexis' hotel suite

Alexis is getting her ready for the ball that Luke is going to crash. Alexis was invited by Stefan to the ball because she is his sister. Alexis is going as a princess.

Alexis is wearing a pink dress, her hair is in a French twist and she is wearing a tiara on her head.

There is a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Alexis asks.

" It's me." Luke yells.

Alexis opens the door. Alexis does not look happy when she sees Luke at the door.

"Should I be thrilled?"

"Yes, baby. We are going to put an end tonight to your worse nightmare."

Luke hands Alexis a pink mask that matches her dress.

"Put this on when we get to Wyndemere we don't want anybody to recognize that pretty face of yours."

Alexis makes a face at Luke.

"Luke, I was invited to this party."

Luke is dressed up as a clown and has all the face makeup on so no one can tell who he is.

Alexis stands there laughing, "Nice costume Luke. I am sorry."

"Stop it princess. Your costume fits you too. A princess. You look great though. Ready to go."

"Let's go Spencer."

Alexis and Luke leave the hotel.

Chapter 2

Q's Mansion

Ned enters the Quartermaine's living room, dressed up as the Phantom of The Opera.

"Where are you going?" Edward asks Ned.

"I am going to Katherine's engagement party tonight. It's a costume party."

"Why did your ex-wife ask you to go to her engagement party? I didn't know you were invited."

"We're still friends grandfather."

"She blackmailed you into marriage why still be friends with her?"

Lila enters the room.

"Edward would you stop grilling Ned?"

"Yes, Lila."

Monica walks in the room.

"Very nice costume Ned."

"Thanks Monica."

Ned leaves the mansion.

Chapter 3

Wyndemere

Alexis walks into Wyndemere.

Luke is sneaking into Wyndemere through a tunnel.

Stefan comes up to Alexis and kisses her on the cheek. "You look very pretty Alexis."

"Thank you Stefan."

Katherine comes up to them.

"What is Alexis doing here?"

"Katherine, Alexis was invited by me. You might not approve but she is my sister."

"Fine."

Katherine huffs off.

"Stefan, I am sorry if I am causing you trouble by being here."

"Alexis, I asked you to be here. Don't be sorry, sister.""

"Did you just call me sister?"

"Yes. Alexis I am so sorry that I banished you from the family. Please come back."

"Stefan. I don't know."

"Please."

"I needed you to protect me from Helena and you did not."

"I am sorry. If you need my protect now I can give it to you."

"Stefan I cannot decided right now."

"Fine."

Stefan leaves to go greet the other guests.

Chapter 4

Helena enters Wyndemere and sees Alexis standing there.

Helena walks over to Alexis and stands behind her.

"Hello Natasha. Where is Ned?"

"Ned's not here yet. OK. Helena please leave me alone."

"I want you to do something for me."

"Helena not tonight."

"You want to die tonight? It can be arranged."

"No."

"I want you to help me kill Katherine. Stefan is marrying a peasant and I don't like her."

"Helena you know that I will not help you. I will not kill anyone."

Helena leaves Alexis standing there.

Alexis does not know that Helena has a gun.

Chapter 5

Ned walks in and sees Alexis standing in the corner. He starts to feel sorry for what he did to her.

Ned is still looking at Alexis when Katherine comes up to him.

"Earth to Ned. Hello." Katherine said.

Ned stops looking at Alexis. "Hello Katherine." Ned gives Katherine a kiss on the cheek.

"What's wrong Ned? You looked like you were dreaming."

"Nothing wrong. I was just thinking about someone."

"Ned, have a great time."

"Thanks Katherine and congratulations."

Katherine leaves and Ned looks at Alexis again.

Ned realizes that he is in love with Alexis.

Chapter 6

Alexis is standing in the corner. She is drinking a glass of champagne. Alexis wants to be with Ned. She wants to go over to him and say she is sorry. Alexis sees Helena standing there and she wants to kill her now. It's because of Helena that Alexis and Ned are broken up.

Ned is standing in the other corner looking at Alexis. He realizes that he cannot be without her and that he still loves her. He remembers a conversation that he had with Alexis. The reason that she had to defend Tony was because of this lady named Helena. He had never met Helena before and he knew that she would probably be here tonight.

Helena is dancing with someone and she looks at Ned and Alexis. She realizes that something must be off between Ned and Alexis since they are not together. She smiles and what happened.

Chapter 7

Ned realizes that he cannot be without Alexis. Ned walks out on the balcony where Alexis is standing. Alexis is standing with her back towards Ned. Ned slowly walks over to her and slips his arms around her waist. Alexis jumps when he does this.

"Hello beautiful," Ned whispers in her ear.

"Ned??" Alexis turns around and looks Ned in the eyes.

"Alexis I need to apologize. I was being a jerk…"

Alexis interrupts him. "Ned no don't. I should have told you the truth."

"Alexis I love you. I should have given you the chance to explain why you defended Tony…."

Alexis puts her finger over Ned mouth.

"Ned no more. I am truly sorry."

Ned is still holding Alexis' waist. He slowly leans in and kisses her. Alexis responds and wraps her arms around his neck. Ned breaks away and looks at Alexis.

"Would you care to dance with me Ms. Davis?"

"I would love to, Ned."

Ned leads Alexis over to the dance floor and starts dancing. Ned and Alexis both notice that people are staring at them. Edward walks over to them.

"Ned why are you dancing with the traitor?"

"Grandfather please."

"What?"

"Leave us alone tonight."

Edward goes off talking to himself.

"Alexis?"

"Yeah."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too, Ned."

Alexis leans her head on Ned's shoulder.

Chapter 8

Ned and Alexis are still dancing.

"This party is turning out to be a great." Ned says showing his dimples.

"I know."

"Alexis I have a serious question for you. Can I ask you?"

"Go ahead Ned."

Ned looks into Alexis' eyes.

"Alexis, I love you. You are my heart and soul. Please make me the happiest person and marry me?"

"What?"

"Marry me. Alexis I need you."

"Ned. I don't know. I love you too….."

Ned interrupts Alexis. "Being apart made me realize that I really need you. I will not push you. I will give you time if that is what you need."

Alexis has tears in her eyes. "Ned I will marry you."

"Thank you Alexis. You know I need to get you a ring now."

"Ned I don't need a ring. I just need you."

Ned kisses Alexis.

Chapter 9

Luke is waiting for Alexis to show up with Helena so he can shoot Helena. Now that she has not shown up he realizes that someone or something is keeping her. He is getting really mad at her. He doesn't know what to do if she does not show up. Does he crash the party or does he just leave?

Chapter 10

Helena is standing on the balcony and notices that Alexis and Ned are dancing. Helena pulls out the gun that she has on her. Helena has had enough of Natasha and she wants this to be over. Helena shoots in the direction of Ned and Alexis. As the gun goes off, Alexis screams. Helena leaves the room. Everyone turns to see Ned slumps to the ground.

"Ned!!! Someone call the paramedics."

Alexis sees that her dress is covered in blood. Alexis has a flashback to when her mother was killed. Alexis faints when she thinks about what had happened. Alexis hits her head on the ground and there is a deep gash on her forehead. Alexis is unconscious. Monica and Alan come running into the room.

"What happened?" Monica asks.

"Someone shot Mr. Ashton and Ms. Davis fainted and hit her head," V said.

"Where's Stefan?"

"I am right here, Monica." Stefan says as he enters the room.

Just then the EMTs enter the room. Two EMTs go to Ned and the other one goes to Alexis. The EMTs load Ned and Alexis onto stretchers and leave with Ned and Alexis.

Stefan says, "Sorry this party has to be cut short because my sister was hurt and I need to go with her. I am so sorry."

Stefan leaves Wyndemere and gets into the ambulance with Alexis. Monica and Alan follows the ambulances.
