Back in Alexis’ hospital room

(It’s around 10PM when Ned enters her room)

(Alexis is still sleep which does not shock Ned)

(Ned lays down next to Alexis and strokes her cheek)

Ned: (to a sleeping Alexis) Hello beautiful. You’re the greatest and I love you so much. Stefan sends his love. You should see Brittany and Michael. They look a lot like you and guess what I think they are going to inherit our dimples. I just hope they don’t have your stubborn attitude or that they turn into perfectionists.

(He keeps talking until he fall asleep next to Alexis)

(A nurse enters the room and realizes that Ned is laying next to Alexis; She was going to tell him that he had to leave but she realizes that he is related to Dr. Quartermaine. The nurse leaves)

Alexis’ hospital room

10 AM

(Alexis is still sleeping and Ned is sitting in a chair next to her. He already ate breakfast)

(Lila comes in)

Lila: Are you ready for visitors? We never were able to give Alexis a baby shower. We have gifts for Brittany and Michael.

Ned: Sure. Just be quiet Alexis is still sleeping. I was going to wake her in 5 minutes.

(Lila comes in and so does the rest of the Quartermaines. Behind them is Stefan and Nikolas)

Ned: Stefan, Nikolas come on in.

(Everyone is standing there so Ned decides to wake Alexis)

(Ned goes over to Alexis and kisses her)

(Alexis wakes up; startled to see that many people standing there)

Alexis: (realizing that she looks bad) My hair, my clothes, my makeup. You cannot be here I am not presentable.

Lila: You look radiant as usually.

Alexis: Thank you

(A nurse walks in with Brittany and Michael)

Alexis: There they are.

(the nurse hands both children to Alexis; Ned is sitting down next to her and he takes Michael)

(Everyone is standing around them saying how cute and precious they are)

Ned: Emily would you like to hold one of your cousins?

Emily: Sure. (walks over to Ned and takes Michael).

Alexis: Nikolas come here?

(Alexis wants to hand him Brittany)

Nikolas: I am not going to hurt her am I?

Alexis: No. (hands Brittany to Nikolas)

Ned: (to Emily and Nikolas) Stand together. I want a picture.

(Ned grabs a camera and takes a picture of Nikolas and Emily)

(The nurse walks back in)

Nurse: OK it is time for everyone to leave so Mrs. Ashton can get rest

. (Everyone except Ned leaves; he sits) Ned: It looks like these children have brought our families closer together.

Alexis: I really enjoy it when our families get along. Come here.

(Ned moves closer)

(Alexis puts her hands around his neck and pulls him real close)

Alexis: I love you. (she gives Ned a passionate kiss; neither one of them are able to breathe)

(Now Ned is sitting on her bed; he wraps his hands around Alexis’ back)

(Someone walks in and clears their throat)

(Alexis and Ned are suprised and they stop kissing)

Monica: Alexis needs rest not more excitement.

Ned: (has a guilty look on face) Sorry. (gets off the bed because it is too tempting). I am going for a walk. Get some sleep.

(Monica leaves with Ned)

Alexis’ hospital room

(Alexis’ eyes are closed but she is not sleeping yet)

(She hears someone come in but she does not open her eyes)

(Helena had walked into the room)

Helena: You are going to get what you deserve Natasha. Death. I promise you that. Be careful and that goes for your husband too. Why did he ever want to marry someone like you? Sleep well Natasha.

(Helena leaves)

(Alexis opens her eyes and starts crying. She wishes someone would just shoot Helena and that she would die)

Alexis’ Hospital room

(Ned walks back in the room after his walk and he notices that Alexis has been crying)

Ned: (sits down next to her) What’s wrong? And don’t tell me nothing. I am beginning to read you like a book.

Alexis: (looks at Ned with fear in her eyes which Ned notices) Helena came in here while I was trying to go to sleep and she threatened my life and yours. Ned I am really scared that something will happen to our children.

Ned: (hugs Alexis) It’s all right. I will not let anything happen to you.

(Monica walks in)

Monica: Alexis I just wanted to let you know that you can go home tomorrow.

(A nurse comes running in)

Nurse: Dr. Quartermaine may I talk to you outside?

(Nurse and Monica go outside)

Outside Alexis’ room

Monica: What’s wrong?

Nurse: Brittany Ashton is missing from the nursery. I thought you might want to tell them since you are related to Mr. Ashton. Security is checking all the floors and we are looking at surveillance cameras. The police have been notified.

Monica: Thank you for letting me know.

(Monica gets a sad expression on her face)
