It's Really a Small World After All SOM 12/29/98

NLG had the time of her life sharing Disney World with her baby daughter, Kate, for the first time. "I really didn't expect much of a reaction from an 8 and a half month old," Grahn says. "But we got into the boat for it's a small world, and she was sitting in my lap. We turned the corner where you see the first country, and she jumped up and flung herself nearly out of my lap. Then, we had a private cocktail party with Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. While most babies are scared of those big characters, she threw herself at Mickey and sucked on his nose and let Pluto pick her up and toss her into the air. It was so precious that I was sobbing. It sounds so corny, nut I felt so proud to work for Disney."
