"It was a nice change of pace," Wally says. "After we got through all the paparazzi on our way to the restaurant, the attention was over as far as I was concerned. Rena got pulled over to be interviewed as a star of Melrose Place. So did Jack Wagner."

That left Wally and GH co-star Kristina Wagner, Jack's wife, free to be regular folks. "The two of us hung out at the bar and talked. It was nice to be at a party and not be in the limelight, just sit back and let my wife have her glory, while I snacked on hors d'oeuvres and cocktails," Wally says.

Since he's never been a big Melrose fan - "I've only seen the show a few times" - the party didn't present a star-gazing thrill.
