ABCStar: Good afternoon everyone! This is ABCTim and Wally will be joining us shortly. He is on his way into the studio and is running a little behind. Sorry for the delay!

ABCStar: Wally is running late but he will be here any minute. Wally is on his way into the studio and hit some traffic out in LA. Please bear with me and I'm sure Wally will be along to take your questions and second now. I'll be typing Wally's answers but the words will be his.

ABCStar: I just got Wally on the line and we'll take the first question.

Question: Hi Wally! How are Rena and Rosabel? Will Ned and Alexis be staying together this time? *IcePrncesz*

ABCStar: Rena and Rosabel are doing wonderful. They're playing in the backyard today. I think Ned and Alexis will be together through the summer. And then, who knows! Do you guys like Ned and Alexis together?

Question: Are you planning on attending ABC Super Soap Weekend again this Nov?

ABCStar: I'm not sure at this point. The network is still working on the details.

Question: Hi Wally is there any truth that Rena might be returning to the show?

ABCStar: She would love to return, but nothing is set at this point.

Question: Hi Wally which do you prefer doing the most -- playing Ned or singing in your band?

ABCStar: At this time in my life, I really enjoy doing both.

Question: Wally, is Ned going to have any big storylines coming up soon (one where we'll actually get to see you!)? We miss seeing you all the time!

ABCStar: Thank you. I miss being on the show all the time. I'm not sure what they have planned for Ned. If you have an idea, let the producers know. I miss spending time in Port Charles.

Question: Wally, is Eddie Maine ever coming back? Will we ever get to see that side of Ned again? I miss him!

ABCStar: Eddie was such a unique aspect of Lois' character, that I don't see Eddie returning without having Lois back.

Question: Wally, what's the funniest thing that's ever happened while filming GH? A funny blooper or anything?

ABCStar: We had a lot of fun during the fantasy sequences -- especially when I was pretending to be a lounge singer and was singing Three Times a Lady. The pants they put me in were so tight that the zipper kept coming down.

Question: Hi Wally how do you find the time to act sing in a band AND be a father and husband to your real family?

ABCStar: That's a good question. I make it a point to devote my weekends to my family. During the week from 9 to 5, I either work at GH or on my music. I give my mornings to my daughter, my evenings to my wife and my weekends to my entire family.

Question: Are you going to do an act at this years nurses ball? -Reese

ABCStar: Tune in tomorrow and Monday! I have duet with Emily (Amber Tamblyn) and the other surprise you'll have to wait and see. Question: Wally did you already have your band when you started on GH?

ABCStar: Yes, I did. My partner and I had just started singing together. Shortly thereafter, we started adding other members.

Question: Who is your favorite person to be in a scene with on General Hospital?

ABCStar: I would have to Rena Sofer. We had so much fun I had to marry her!

Question: What has been your favorite Ned storyline? -Reese

ABCStar: I've had a lot of great storylines. I loved it when Lois came on. I loved working with her. I loved singing with the band. I loved have a alter ego and having two wives. That two or three year period was the best.

Question: I love Kurth & Taylor! How is that coming?

ABCStar: It's going really well. I just got back from spending six days in Nashville at the Country Music fan fair. It was so much fun. So many country fans are also soap fans. People are always surprised to see me there. Often, people who know me just from GH think that I lip synch on the show. They are surprised to find out I really sing in real life. We performed at a benefit for the Judds. It was cool meeting Naomi and Wyonna.

Question: Are you ticklish? If so where?

ABCStar: I'm ticklish on the bottom of my feet and around my love handles.

Question: Is it difficult to work around Amber's schedule since she is a minor? You and she have great scenes together.

ABCStar: That is one busy kid! It's not difficult working around her schedule because she comes prepared. I love working with Amber. I also like the Ned and Emily scenes because it shows another side of Ned.

Question: What would you like to see Ned do in the future?

ABCStar: I would like to see him get out of his suit and tie and live a little bit more. Ned needs a love life, whether with Alexis or someone else. He needs to get out more.

Question: Do you read all your fan mail?

ABCStar: I do read my mail. If you want to find out when Kurth & Taylor are performing, there's a number you can call. That number is 1-900-GET-KT-NOW. If you call, you can get info about concerts, about the band's fan club.

Question: Hello Wally. I just saw you and Christian perform in Nashville. I was wondering if we could expect a new CD anytime soon.

ABCStar: We just finalized a production deal with MCA records and we hope that will lead to a record deal. We expect our next album to be done with a major label and have it be that you could actually buy it in record stores. I'm aiming for a release date in 1999.

Question: Do you like the Ned & Alexis story?

ABCStar: I do. I just wish they would really commit to it.

Question: With the changes in head writers over the past couple of years, are you happy with the way things currently are regarding your character?

ABCStar: I'm always a little disappointed when Ned doesn't have a major storyline. Ned hasn't had a major story since Lois left. I think his time is due again. Right now, he's seems to be in a holding pattern. Every actor wants to work. I want to be challenged and run with the ball a little bit.

Question: Who is your favorite Quartermaine?

ABCStar: You gotta love Lila!

Question: Can you tell us about your act with Amber Tamblyn in the Nurse's Ball?

ABCStar: We will be performing a song that I sing on the GH CD (The Music of General Hospital.) The song is titled The Power To Believe.

Question: How long have you been on GH, and how long do you plan on staying with GH?

ABCStar: I've been here since August, 1991. I don't have any plans to leave in the near future.

Question: I really miss Ned and Brenda's friendship on GH, are there any plans to have the two of them in a storyline any time soon?

ABCStar: I don't know of plans for a Ned and Brenda storyline, but we continue to have scenes together.

Question: Wally what is your most decadent indulgence?

ABCStar: I would say cigars and red wine.

Question: Should we be worried that AJ will try to take away Ned's CEO position?

ABCStar: Never worry that AJ will usurp Ned's position at ELQ (that was Ned speaking!)

Question: Is the Nurse's Ball one of your favorite events to participate in?

ABCStar: I really do like the Nurses Ball. There's something very comforting about doing it every year. It's like trying on an old coat that you just love and fits so well. I hope they never end that tradition.

Question: Would you ever encourage your baby girl to get involved in show business? Why or why not?

ABCStar: I just want her to follow her passion. If she went into show business I wouldn't be surprised since her father and mother are in the business. I truly just want her to be happy. I want her to follow her heart and I wouldn't encourage or discourage her from doing what she wanted.

Question: Do you guys have a lot of fun on the set? Have you pulled any pranks on anyone?

ABCStar: I work with the best actors in the world. We have lots of fun. We laugh all day long whenever we work together. All the Q's are great! Anna Lee (Lila), Leslie Charleson (Monica), Billy Warlock (AJ) -- just everyone is great!

Question: Do you plan to take a vacation from the show this summer? If so, for how long?

ABCStar: I just took a week off to go to Nashville. Maybe a few days in August but nothing major.

ABCStar: We have time for one more question.....

Question: Hi Wally! Can you tell us what it was like when you and Rena met? Was it love at first sight? Thanks! You're great!

ABCStar: We first met at the audition and that is a stressful time. Her first day at work was very special. I remember it like it was yesterday!
