Nancy Lee Grahn and Wally Kurth enjoy working together so much that they jumped at the chance to perform the romantic, two-person play Love Letters last month. The show, which was staged in Thousand Oaks, CA, a town about an hour north of LA, was directed by Grahn's former Santa Barbara co-star, Lane Davies (ex-Mason). "I asked Wally and Nancy to do the play because I've known both of them for years and was familiar with the caliber of their work," Davies explains. The play which consists of two actors reading their characters; love letters aloud, moves from comedy to bittersweet melodrama - and Kurth and Grahn's soap experience obviously made the transitions a breeze. Although it was easy to play, new mother Grahn admits she had a hard time relating to her character. "I can't imagine anyone having the opporunity to be a mother and not grabbing onto it."
