PERSONALITY:

Alethea is someone anyone can trust, she hears people in the best way possible and has always some advice for them. She has been described as extremely sympathetic, friendly, trustworthy and overall 'a nice gal whom to talk to', quoting one of her friends. She is often a calm person but she likes challenges and if something interests her she can free her more daring personality. She seems lonely sometimes but she hides it deep within herself and doesn't let her personal uncertainties get between her and her job. She is also somewhat stubborn when it comes to something she feels is important and wants at any cost to happen, though if her choices are minimally irrational, she can back from them when given wise reasons. She trusts people and sometimes that proves to be hurtful but she has a trusting nature she can't stop from manifesting. Though she is often calm, she can show the more blissful and enthusiastic when within the presence of friends (or when she feels like it). She's also very much a literature and classic music lover, and has a great voice, for those few who have heard her sing. She also loves sports though people wouldn't guess it by her personality but her physically fit body proves how much she trains.

SKILLS/TALENTS:

Alethea knows people and that knowledge helps her in her job. She has a particular characteristic that is sometimes is mistaken with Empathy our Telepathy. She a the ability to read people's expressions. Every single movement of their faces and limbs and body indicates some feeling, thought, emotion. Alethea has a special talent to see and identify such movement, for more elusive they may seem. Most people don't even know their body language says sometimes more than their words and Alethea knows much on how to read it. This ability of her has also brought much suspicion of her being telepathic which brought some people to look her sideways and one crew member of a ship she had been even demanded her dismissing from service due to unethical mind probing. Other skill of hers is her martial arts training that allows her to have very high self defense.

BRIEF HISTORY:

Alethea was born in London, England, on the 21st of June. Daughter of two Star Fleet Officers, it was only natural which way Alethea's life would follow, especially since she started showing a natural talent for relationships with people. When she was six years old she had captivated the hearts of cold Federation officers with her blissful and exuberant personality, something that would be constantly tuned down as she grew to adulthood. Also around this age her mother started noticing her daughter's ability to read people's expressions and body language, something that would later prove valuable in one mission with her mother. She joined the Star Fleet Academy as soon as she finished high school, with the blessing of her parents. Her older brother Elton was already there for two years when she joined. Alethea finished the Academy within the top rank students with a degree in Psychology and Universal Relations. Her first official Federation work was under her mother's wing as her assistant on the USS Milestone. She gained much experience with her mother though not all she thought necessary. Still her natural wish to help and her talent for good advising allowed her to feel more comfortable in her work. Her brother was killed during an attack at his ship and Alethea kept her pain within her and tried to soothe that of her family. That capacity to draw pain to her and keep it there brings her to tears sometimes when she is alone and cannot control herself.
