A time when an entire generation of Gorn males reaches maturity, the young males enter into a violent and territorial stage.. The elder gorn simply expell the youth into free space where the young Gorn attack and conquer all they can..

 

The season lasts over a year, at the end of the year the newly conquered territories are

incorporated into the Gorn Confederation and peace is declared until the time of the next wilding season

which renders it invisible for only 68 seconds, this "Blinking" in and out makes targeting the Stileto very tricky.
