Scott Vickaryous is breaking hearts and making waves as one of the stars of the popular UPN series Breaker High. Breaker High is the most unique educational experience on land or sea -- a cruise ship with 500 teens on board, learning about math, science, geography... and partying. Scott plays Max Ballard, the ship captain’s rebellious and hot-headed son. While Max has often been described as a young man with a great big chip on his shoulder, Scott says of his character: "Max has a sensitive and caring nature deep down inside, if only he could trust someone enough to let it show."

After graduating in 1993 from Salisbury Composite High School, Scott began his career as a model in Toronto, Canada. At the suggestion of a casting agent, he decided to pursue acting and moved to Vancouver to further his career. Scott had a featured role in the Showtime film The Right Connections with Melissa Joan Hart and a leading role in the NBC made-for-television movie The Accident. He portrayed a cold diver in USA Network’s Breaking The Surface: The Greg Louganis Story and guest starred on the popular syndicated series Poltergeist: The Legacy, Viper and The Outer Limits. With the halted production of Breaker High, Scott has already moved onto other projects, including a new made-for-tv-movie with Ariana Richards (of Jurassic Park fame). The movie is called "Race Against Fear" and is set to air Fall 98 on NBC. Another film in production, called "Don't Die My Love" has Scott in the starring role playing a football player who gets cancer.

An accomplished athlete, Scott is a national and international champion in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. He has been an avid hockey player since the age of four and played football for the better part of his youth. For two years, he was a wide receiver for the Edmonton Wildcats. Scott also enjoys camping and hiking in his spare time. Born September 13, 1975 in British Columbia, and then moving to Sherwood Park, Alberta, Scott admires the work of such actors as Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer and counts fellow Canadian Michael J. Fox’s sitcom Spin City among his favorite television shows.

Laura Wegner (co-creator of Breaker High):
"Well, what can a say...Scott is adorable and as good looking as he is on TV, he is better looking in person. Scott loves sports (hockey is one of his favorites). He is the nicest guy! Really sweet and humble (not stuck up I swear) and like the rest of our cast and crew, he is headed for a great career. "

More coming soon! : )
