R: We're talking to Scott Vickaryous. He's in sunny California right
now. Hello, Scott. How are you doing today?
S: I'm doing good. How are you?
R: We're really excited to have you on the show today. You know what?
I have a lot of e-mail here scattered on my dest and maybe we can pull
some questions to you that come to us from some of your fans.
S: Sure, no problem. That's a great idea.
R: So we'll get to one here that comes from Candy and Candy asks, she
actually has three questions. Are you anything like the character you
play on Breaker High?
S: Okay, are we gonna do this all at once?
R: No, we'll do it one at a time.
S: Oh, we're gonna do it one at a time? Am I like my character? Well,
there are similarities between me and Max definitely but all in all, no,
I'm not like Max.
R: You're not like Max?
S: No. You know, I'm pretty easygoing. Pretty relaxed. I'm a little
bit shy but...
R: Oh, you're just driving the girls crazy right now, you know?
S: Why?
R: Well, just cause I think they're all looking for that kind, gentle,
sensitive type. You're a 90s man obviously.
S: Well, you know, it is the 90s isn't it?
R: Yeah it is. Well, next question. Was that really you at the
Backstreet Boys Intimate and Interactive on Much Music? Was that you
that was there?
S: Yes, it was.
R: It was? Well, you know what? Apparently, a lot of people have been
sending this same question. I understand you weren't even visible for
all of 2 seconds and people have been picking you out.
S: Yeah, I saw a tape of the show and from what I saw, there was maybe 2
seconds where the camera pans past and I was actually behind someone.
It was just very brief so I'm really surprised that people recognized me
there.
R: One more question from Candy. Was that you at Nathan Philip Square
on New Year's Eve? What were you doing New Year's Eve?
S: Yes,I was watching my friend's band Indecision at Nathan Philip
Square.
R: So you were here in the Toronto area and we didn't even know you were
here which is just too bad. Okay, I'm gonna go right to the computer
right here and it says that I would like to ask Scott if he has a
girlfriend yet? Do you have a girlfriend, Scott?
S: Do I have a girlfriend? No, I do not have a girlfriend.
R: You don't have a girlfriend? So, ladies, there's still a chance.
(Scott laughs)
R: So Scott, what type of girl are you interested in most?
S: You know, I'm not really interested in just one type of woman.
PART II
R: Will you and Tamira ever go out?
S: Will we ever go out? Umm, well I don't know, actually, as far as I
know...
R: Probably not, eh?
S: I'm not sure. They don't tell us that stuff that far in advance but
we haven't done an episode like that yet so I guess we'll just have to
wait and see.
R: And this is a P.S. from Helen. It says "I think Scott is a babe".
Are you happy to hear that?
S: I'm very flattered.
R: So what's in store for Scott in the future?
S: Just doing a lot of auditioning right now. I just completed an NBC
TV movie.
R: Oh, what's it called?
S: Right now, the title is "Sin of Silence".
R: "Sin of Silence". Okay, so watch out for that. It might be renamed,
eh?
S: Yeah, you never know with these things. But as it stands, it should
be coming out in the fall. Maybe spring, but right now, it's looking
like fall.
R: What was your favourite Breaker High episode?
S: My favourite episode? Obviously the one in Canada. The one in
Canada where I got to play hockey. That was so much fun. I was a bit
of a jerk in that episode but I mean, it was so much fun. It was so
much fun to do.
