Till
When Do Us Part stars Kenix Kwok and Ng Kai Wah.
The story is very simple but still refreshing.
The feeling you get is just like when you're in a waterslide. You start
of REAL fast, only to be brought to the pool
and let you enjoy the refreshing water. In the beginning of this serie,
you see Kenix and Ng Kai Wah meet eachother, going out, marrying AND get
divorced. Note: this all happens in ONE epsidode!! And from then on, the
real story starts. Kenix and NG Kai Wah are seperated, but are still forced
to live together in the same house. And eventually Kenix is forced to work
in Kai Wah's autorney's office too. Finally, they develop a paradoxial
relationship. Divorced, but still good friends. No even more than being
friends. After they got divorced, they start to REALLY know and understand
eachother. This all leads to one thing, they love eachother even more.....
Well,
Kenix and Kai Wah are both great actors of course. But this time.... well,
Ng Ka Wah is trying so hard to be a good guy, that sometime he's REALLY
fake. His efforts to put up the "who can't resist my great personality"
face gets really annoying. Kenix Kwok is actualy playing his standard characters,
which is no improvement to me.
The story... of course, like I said, the story
is refreshing. I've seldom see a story like this. Where you jumpstart in
the begining, so I thought it's gonna be a great serie. However, after
the 15th or so episode the story gets incredibly dragging and predictable.
If TVB had made this one a short serie of only 10 or so eps, then
I think this is a great one. However, that is not the case now and this
is also the reason why I give this one a C. Only watch it if you've got
no choice. If you decide not to watch it, then you won't miss much either.
