Desktop Themes
are a collection of graphics, pointers, sounds, startup/shutdown
screens and screensavers provided to a common theme to enable
you the user to change the way your desktop looks and sounds when
in use. Microsoft sell a product called Plus!/Plus!98 - an add on
to Windows 95/98 - which amongst other things allows you to do
this easily and quickly. This has been a popular add-on as many
thousands of Desktop Themes
have been created on just about every subject you could imagine.

Desktop Architect A relative newcomer to the theme manager scene by Ken Foster but nonetheless a very professional utility that covers all the bases. You can use this to install your themes, modify them and save them as new executable files for sharing with others. The only one which caters for the Windows 98 web view items. |
