The guys of BTVS in Teen' October 1998

TV Turn-on
David Boreanez
REWIND REPORT: Angel was sucked into the vortex after a battle with Buffy.
If you haven't heard the good news yet, here it is: David will get his own show based on our sometimes-not-so-heavenly Angel. Word is that he'll be back on Buffy all next season, then switch over to his new show, tentatively titled Angel, sometime in 1999. Although we'll miss the cool Buffy-Angel chemistry from week to week we can probably expect the slayer to occasionallly show up on Angel's new turf to kick somevampire butt. David and company are keeping pretty quiet about detailsof the new series, but he hints: "It's an extension of chronicle of Buffy, except that I'll be in Los Angeles fighting demons in order to save humanity." And we know he'll look great doing it. This solo spin-off is another success for the heavenly body, who married his long-time girlfriend, Ingrid, this year.

TV Turn-on
Nicholas Brendon
REWIND REPORT: Xander, still confused about his feelings for Willow, professed his love to her as she lay unconsicous, then freed Giles from Angel.
If you believe in Nicholas, this cool quick-wit of a guy was totally timid in high school and-get this-didn't talk much. "I was really very shy," says the actor, who seems so at home with Xander's sarcastic streak. "I didn't talk to many people. I had a stutter and a mild case of acne-at least that's what the doctor's called it." Well, there's no sign of awkwardness left in this awesome actor, who loves his role on Buffy. And which one of the Buffy girls would be Nicholas approved for a date (if he didn't have a girlfriend already)? "Charisma is beautiful. When I kiss her, I get to cheat without cheatin'!"

TV Turn-on
Seth Green
REWIND REPORT: Werewolf Oz's relationship with Willow seemed stronger than ever after she awakened from unconciousness and asked for him.
So-adorable Seth is the wizard behind Oz, the superpopular character who had a recurring role on Buffy last season. Fans are so Seth-crazed that he has been signed on to do a full season as a regular character this year. This is just another big break for Seth, who also starred in Can't Hardly Wait and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and played a young Woody Allen in Radio Days. Also coming soon to a theater near you, Seth will be anything but inactive in next year's Idle Hands, a comedy-thriller costarring Devon Sawa.
