Hi Everyone,
It appears that Scooby is going to be the main theme for the holidays this year. There was a nice animated figure of him in The Lighter Side catalog we got. I haven't run across much LT so far though - hopefully it is just in the wings. The new goebel ornaments are starting to show up and we also found a couple of Punch rotating Christmas snowglobes. Unfortunately both were in a little gift shop not a chain store.

  • The WB Halloween catalog is out but it is mainly Scooby. The only item of note was a Tweety halloween bucket. They also have new Tweety Witch and Taz Devil beanies out for $7 each and some adult and kids costumes.

  • Hallmark has two new ornaments out. The larger one has Bugs leaning over top of Gossamer at $12.95. The miniature is Bugs kissing Elmer at $9.95. They are in stores now but if you wait a month or so you can usually catch them on sale at drug stores.
  • Auto Barn has Taz and Tweety seat covers, seat belt pads, windshield shades and more. URL: http://www.autobarn.net/ind.html . You should also check your local auto parts stores for window stickers, graphics and windshield sun blocking film.

  • Kid Rhino is giving away a cd rom for $1.98. It has several games on it. Details are at http://www.kidrhino.com/interact/index.html or at Walmarts in the Back To School aisle. Also they have a lot of the Baby LT and older CD's under the WB section on their main page including two new kids trivia CD's. These are audio and very suitable for road trips.
