Program Details

In Crazy Paint you can select from 21 pictures and paint them in many ways.

Installation & Registration:

The game can be installed with minimum(50 MB) or full size(100 MB) installations. We used the minimum install and it went flawlessly. We registered through the internet and had no problems.

Gameplay:

Our system is on the lower end of their recommendations. Despite this the program played well. The 3D interface was easy to navigate and the audible cues provided the information that we couldn't figure out visually. We had fun playing with the interface for a while before we ever really got around to painting! The intro is well worth sitting through too-it plays the Rube-Goldberg machine music from the cartoons while you watch it. You get access to 12 colors and 4 animated fills at any give time and there are lots of different tools to paint with. Kids will enjoy doing the same picture in different ways.

Our Thoughts:

We put this one to the grandkid test too. It was a big success with him and both of us(thought eh Duckbumps title would probably have thrilled him even more!) We'd definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars. The interface and animated textures went over big. The textures make the picture more exciting by adding movement to it. The only problem we had with anything was the Pogostick paint tool which none of us could get to work the way we thought it should. If your kids like Looney Tunes you can't go wrong with this one!
