Heat Miser's Hot Spot Yes, there is supposed to be a film adaptation of "Year Without a Santa Claus" coming out at the end of 2002. There is little information available about it so far:
  • Bo Welch, Director. Bo Welch was the production designer for "Beetlejuice" and "Men in Black"
  • Jason Friedberg, Aaron Seltzer: Screenwriters These two were the cowriters of "Scary Movie" and "Spy Hard". They are also working on an "HR Pufnstuf" film.

    Who should play the Miser Brothers?

    "Serenity Now!". As of November 2001, Jerry Stiller (seen to the left) leads our first informal poll on which actor should play Mr. Heat Miser in the forthcoming Warner movie of "The Year Without a Santa Claus" which is currently slated for December 2002 release. The loser is the the clown from the "Spawn" movie (John Leguizamo, seen to the right). Chris Matthews of NBC's cable news channels (below right) even has a few votes.
