"Well now that we have your attention lets play a little game called find the slayer before dawn or she's dead. Oh, and even if you do find her we still feed on every young tasty morstelle that walks in tomorrow......cause of a school dance on Monday that simply every one will be at. And I heard that first thing in the morning they set up all the pretty decorations.....how yummy." She said as she was giggling.
You have....about...well..I don't quite know how long until she dies I guess until I get hungry. Or until she bleeds to death which is......eh soon ehough, see you then." Then the intercom turned off and Angel turnned aroung grabbing Giles' shirt.
"Where is the room where she sent that message from.?!" He said his eyes frantic with fear.
"Well...uh...Snyders office.....down the hall to the left....uh um....last on the right." He spat out tring to remember directions to the principals office.
As soon as this was said Angel was gone the others followed slowly as they tried to run as fast as Angel (Which was to no avail) to Snyders office. But as they got there after Angel had kicked in the door there was know one there. "If she doesn't get some medical attention she'll die!" Willow said as she entered the room.
Then Angel caught the sent of blood it was strong. She wouldn't last long bleeding that bad with vampires around. He walked out of the office and went down the hall to the huge double doors of the gym. He pushed them open and stopped as he saw Buffy on the basketball court with about ten vamps between him and her. The others entered and Xander said with a grim voice, "The sun is rising....why would they do this if the sun was up they must know they'll die unless they stay here all day which isn't possible cause the cops would eventually get here(After all the dead bodies of kids started showing up., of course).
There were three vampires on the side one was Drusilla the other a body gaurd and to every ones surprise Spike was sitting in chair loading a gun with bullets. "Well you didn't really think I'd miss the fun did you?" He said standing and pionting the gun at them.
"Move!" Angel said as they began to spread out all over the gym. Xander went to the right Willow and Giles went to the left and Angel went through the middle.
They all were attempting to get to Buffy but they were out numbered seeing
how more vampires were dropping from above. Willow having picked up the
cross bow was being uderstandibly avoided by them as Giles stayed behind
her. But it would only be a matter of minutes before the dunb beasts found
that she only had loaded three arrows in the bow. Xander was running for
dear life as he sheepishly pulled out some holy water and took the cork out
of the tube of clear liquid. The two that were on him paused slightly but
then decided to attack and try to aviod the water by using the other as a
shield.
As one shoved the other in front the other tried to do so too and
were soon fighting eachother. Xander shrugged as he ran away from them and
looked over to Angel. He had five vampires on him and was flat on his back.
He walked up behind the vamps as they were attacking on the tiring form
below them. Then three of them screamed out as they reached their backs
where Xander had poured the holy water on them. All of them were stunned
and looked up as three of there comrads were frailing their arms and
screaming out.
Angel took his chance and struck them both in the head and they crashed to the floor. he didn't have a stake so he plungded his fist through the floor and pulled a piece of the wood out of the floor.
He then took care of the three vamps screaming bloody murder and looked back at Willow and Giles she had successfully taken out three vamps but her bluff wasn't working any longer they circled and prepared to pounce. Angel was about to go over there but Xander let out a small yelp from behind him. He turned to see Xander who was about to become a vamp snack. He went over to him and tapped one of them on the shoulder and as he turned he plunged the now quite gory piece of flooring into the fearstricken vampires heart.
The other retreated out the door only to run straight into the morning suns rays and with a shriek burst into ash. Angel sudenly froze remembering when the same had happened to his dear sister Ilsa. They had been best friends out of all his siblings and had turned her into a creature like himself so they could kill along side eachother. Which he regreated with all his silent heart now days. Then he was yanked out of his gaze as a shriek ripped through him.
It was Willow they had Giles down and were moving towards him as he helplessly tried to escape. Angel ran as fast as he could (which was very fast) to reach him and as he did he slammed into the biggest one and staked him. Then walked to the others and the four remaining vamps didn't hesitate they attacked at once in a huge thuder of growls, shrieks, and some major vamp slayage. Angel had taken two out but then realized no one but him had a weapon. He kicked out to the left and then punched to the left sending the vamps sprawling out across the floor. then he felt a sharp pain in his back and fell.
Serina stood over him and smiled saying, "Hi Angel lets take a trip down memory lane shall we?" She said as she pulled out a stake and put a foot on his chest pinning him down. Lets see first your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, oh and Ilsa now it's time for you to join them. May you rest in peace Angelus." Then she brought the stake up above her head ready to plunge it deep into his still heart.
Then the stake was torn from her hand. And before she could move it was plunged into her back exploding out of her chest and she shrieked and disolved but not like usual she went slowly and then her ash fell and Angel looked up in surprise to see no other than the slayer!
She had a horrible look on her face and she mutered weakly, "Wrong order sweety." Then her knees began to give and Angel was quick to scramble up and catch her befors she hit the hard floor.
She looked up into his eyes and brought a hand up to his face smiling. She touched the side of his face then her eyes floated shut. Angel gently touched her throat and felt her pulse throbbing.
She was stronger than any other slayer he had met. She had a fire he couldn't explain and he would always love that about her. Then they were interupted by an annoying voice coming from the doors, "This is coming out of your pay check Rupert!" Principal Snyder said as he stormed into the room.
Angel stood with an annoyed look on his face as he carried Buffy to the doors.
"You! Wait you aren't a student here!" he said stopping Angel with his unbudging body. Angel looked down at him and said in an agrivated and harsh voice, "Out of my way...now."
Snyder was about to argue but saw the bleeding girl in his arms and stepped aside with out a word.
"We should bring him with us more often he seems to have a better effect on authority than we do." Xander said as he followed Angel out the door.
After the paramedics came Angel covered his body with a blanket and walked Buffy out to the ambulance clmbing in beside her. They hadn't gotten Spike and Drusilla but they wouldn't give up. As soon as Buffy was ok they would find them. When they arrived at the hospital the doctors had said she was gonna be ok. They said they had never seen anyone heal so fast.
Angel just smiled and said, "Ya she's strong, and always will be." An hour later after what seemed to Angel like forever he was let in to see her.
He hid when they told him visiting hours were over and the nurse left confused thinking he must have slipped past her when she wasn't looking. Then he slowly walked out a laid next to her stroking her hair and she moaned something that he didn't understand but knew she was aware of his presence.
As she snuggled next to him they feel asleep feeling safe and secure in each others arms. Silently vowing their love to one another.
