Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame Each week, an award is given to a player who stands out for every game running. The award changes regualarly and it is possible for one player to recieve it twice. Past winners are:

For the week of 29th May 1998 Kathy Perkins for playing Harmony in "Darkness". Even though Harmony isn't a main character and we haven't seen much of her in the series, Kathy has been able to prove that she is as good to the storyline as much as everyone else. Here's what she had to say:

"Thanks, Jamie, for this great honor! I'd like to thank all the little people who helped me get where I am today, and I will wear the crown of Miss Amer...Oh, sorry! Wrong award! Seriously, I'm honored and flattered to be Player of the Week. I'm having lots of fun playing and look forward eagerly to the next post. It's great to know that you think highly enough of my role-playing to give me this award. I'll work hard to do as well in the future. Thanks! :-)" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Gina for Playing Willow in "Forever". Gina is just so great at twisting the storyline. One minute Willow is fine, the next she's being stalked by a mysterious note-writer. She makes it easy to host the game by writing complete and full reponses. Here's what she had to say:

"Thanks so much for honoring me with that title! I didn't even know it existed; I was just playing right along :) But I'm glad you liked what you saw, and I hope to continue. The story is moving along great. I really don't have much else to say to put on the Web page execpt thanks!"

For the week of 5th June 1998 Will for playing the role of Giles in "Darkness". He not only can make Giles move to his likeness, he also has a way of not interacting with other players which makes my job alot easier!

"Than..Thank you Jamie, to be awarded this accolade at this early in the episode is a great honour I would like to offer my thanks all the players participating in "The Darkness", it has given me a great amount of enjoyment, and how could I forget the GamesMaster who started this Jamie. May I also take this chance to say how great it is to see another English character that isn't a bad guy". * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Starry in "Forever" as Cordelia. This player, Starry, is truly wonderful. She is always coming up with 'cordelia-ism's' which is certainly fun to read.

"Thanks so much for the award! I'm really honored. This was a great idea and I'm really glad to be a part of it. I love playing Cordelia, she's so unlikeme. Also I love reading what the other players are doing with their characters. It's so much fun to play with what they say. Thanks so much!"

For the week of June the 12th 1998 Angela Mach in Darkness. As the leading lady, Angela had proven that she's as just as much the slayer as Buffy is. She is creative and always puts her response in on time.

"I feel honored to be the player of the week. For all you role-playing people, keep up the good work, and your name will be up here too! I'm glad to be playing Buffy. It's fun! Keep up the good work everyone! Just to let ya'll know, I'll always be here to help you if you need help! =)" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Marcie in Forever as the werewolf-y Oz. Marcie can capture Oz very well with her writing, one minute he's hlding Willow's hand, the next his hand is covered with hair. Great work Marcie.

"As your forever player of the week I promise to obey and serve everyone dutifully. I'm really overjoyed. Thanks! And I mock all of you with my monkey pants!"

For the week of the 19th of June 1998 In Darkness this week is Fenris who plays Spike. Fenris is one of those players who I can imagine to have a wild imagination. He has fun with his character which I love to see.

" I'm just glad I can play with so many quality roleplayers, and thanks for making this game very fun!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Xander is played by James in Forever. James is always there to make Xander be, umm, Xander, and that's hard enough. Coming up with Witty Xander-ism's, I think is James' forte.

For the Week of 26th of June 1998 Annamarie does a wonderful job in Forever as Angelus. She doesn't tread on other players' toes and is always a delightful person to chat with.

"Oh my goodness! I never expected this award, it's just too cool. Anywho, it's an honour and I love to write in this story, it's a lot of fun. Also I have to thank Jamie because I don't know who else to thank. If there is anyone else to thank, well, thank you too." * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Webbound in Darkness plays Angelus and she does a mighty fine job too. She's always writing in character and I can depend on her always.

"Thank you for my award. I thought I was doing a terrible job at the beginning. But towards the end I got a hang of it. Thank you all for your kindness. =)" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Joining in the Hall of Fame for the first time is Strangers. The first Strangers award went to Dan for playing the witt Xander. He's always there to give the storyline a twist and come out on top.

"Wow, thank you very much! I'd like to thank all the 'little people' who made this possible. The leprechauns are my best friends! =) As for a quote, I think the one I use on my webpage is appropriate: "There's nothing wrong with you that an expensive operation can't prolong."

For the week of 3rd of July 1998 Angela Mach has done it again as Darknesses player of the week. Always there to play Buffy, and always on time!

"You're doing really good organizing the role playing game! :)" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Gina is also winning this award for the second time. But this time, it's for playing Giles temporarily in Darkness. It goes to show how versitile and a great writing this girl is!

"Thanks for picking me for my small role as Giles. He's always been Da' Man in my book. And I've always enjoyed the special relationship he shares with the Slayer. The story is just moving along well. Keep up the good work, guys!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Courtney in Strangers plays a new character Rosemary, the snobbish hollywood actor that has come to town and already set her eyes on Angel and then Xander.

"I'm am very flattered with this award. Roleplaying is engorossing. The more you do it, the more you want to do it."

For the week of 10th of July 1998 Kathy Perkins in Darkness has been filing in for Willow for me, along side playing Harmony. I've said this once and I'll say it again, this girl is a fantastic player!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Annamarie has stood out again as Angelus, our favourite Undead American in Forever. I like the way Annamarie doesn't tread on toes and still comes up with a great storyline.

I'd also like to say thanks (if this makes sense) for winning the award and I wish everyone good luck in the future." * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In Strangers this week is Kpet as Kendra, the other slayer. We don't know very much about Kendra, but that hasn't stopped her!

"Kendra's a great character to play. I always wished that Joss would have developed her character more. So the role playing is my chance to develop her as a main character. Thanks for the award!"

For the Week of the 17th Of July Webbound has proven again that she is a good player, playing the ever lovable but deadly Angel in Darkness.

"Thank you again for this award ;-)" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Stephanie plays Harmony in Strangers. She is one of the best players I have ever hosted with. Not only can she make a somewhat superficial person into a complex character, but she's also on time and friendly, always wanting to do what's best for the game.

"First, I have to say thank you, Jamie. This is a great game and I always have looked forward to it. This was a wonderful surprise. I wish I could play more characters. At first, I was wondering how to play Harmony, a snobby girl that had barely any character depth, and then I found out it wasn't a weakeness but a strength. And I'm able to let her grow and be a real person, and I have lots of flexiblity. I hope everyone is enjoying reading what she's up to as much as I am coming up with it. And for Harmony's sake, I must quote this, for I beleive this is now true of her in this game. "I'm not a sheep." Harmony from 'Bewitched, Bothered." * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Jennifer plays Buffy in Forever. I think the Forever game is more about emotions than the other games and Jen portray's the Slayer very very well. Always on time too!

"I'm just so excited. *S* I loved the game from the start, and the more I got into it, the more I found I liked it even more. It's great working on the game with all of you. *S* Thank you!!"

The Awards have changd to come out Fortnightly to cope with my new schedule. Only temporarily though!

For the Fortnight of the 24th of July Fenris in Darkness plays the evil Spike sooo well. I have always admired Fenris' writing skills and they keep getting better an better!

"Wow! Yet again I would just like to say that all of the other players are Great! I'm very impressed with the quality of the story every week." * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Starry is Cordelia Chase in Forever. Starry is one of my all time favourite characters, she can get into the head of Cordy and really write about the character.

"Well, Thanks! I the game is so much fun! I love playing, but if I didn't have the other players, I wouldn't be so great. The person playing Xander is great to play off of and so is everyone else! Just when I think the story's going to go one way, somebody changes it. I love it and thanks for the award." * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Zara has been playing Ms Jenny Calender in Strangers. I admire her work for playing the Techo Pagan, because she really can write fantastically and very in character.

For the Fortnight of the 7th of August Viv plays Cordelia in Darkness. she picked the game up very quickly and has always had me engrossed with her repsonses.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Xander in Forever is played by James. Again, one of my favourite characters. He and Starry play brilliantly together and often write the same things for their characters which means fantastic interaction. I could go on and on about James but I won't.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Kimberley started playing Amy in Strangers not that long ago but I was really impressed with her repsonses. She makes Amy not just a Witch, but a complex and diverse character.

For the Fortnight of the 21st of August Sachiel who plays Oz in Darkness is an amusing player. He captures Oz in a very fine way and portrays him well.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Fallen Angel plays Drusilla in Forever, she gets right into Dru's head and acts her out well.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hillary is playing Drusilla also, but in the Strangers game. She writes well and keeps the storyline moving at a nice pace.

For the Fortnight of the 4th of September Yet again, Kathy has stood head and shoulders above. Playing Harmony in Darkness, she write very very well and can always be relied upon.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Marcie in Forever plays Oz. She is very good at it and pulls off his cool attitude greatly.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Greg is another favourite. Playing Giles in Strangers, this is his first role playing game. But there is no way you could tell. He spruces up the storylines, doesn't tread on other people's toes and is always on time and very in character.
