Roosevelt High hallway: Roger enters with a set of cool new sunglases. Tamera asks him to step closer so she can fix her makeup in the reflexion of the glases.
Plot
The school auditorium is being repainted and renamed in honour of one of the past students, Casey Kasem. The school is auditioning for two acts to perform at the grand reopening, with Casey to pick the best. Tia thinking this is a great opportunity to get back at Marva Blackwell, who always scores the prices, encourages Tamera to enter the audition. A recent break-up helps Tamera sing the blues so well she is selected to be in the singing contest.
