Chapter 1
Robin Scorpio was sitting in her room at the cottage. She was thinking about how
her life was going. Ever since Michael was kidnapped Carly and Jason have grown
closer. She and Jason did small talk. She knew that Jason would never tell AJ
the truth about Michael. She knew that Nikolas Cassadine was interested in her.
But he saw her the perfect woman. And she wasn't perfect. She heard a knock on
the door. It was Brenda. She came in and sat next to Robin.
Brenda: So have you decided yet?
Robin: I don't know if I want to attend this dock project signing. I would
rather stay home tonight.
Brenda: You need a night out Robin. Jax wants you to come with us. And
afterwards the three of us will take a little trip.
Robin: I will be a third wheel. You two can have a romantic time if you go
without me. What about the plan?
Brenda comes up and gives Robin a hug.
Brenda: How can I enjoy myself knowing how terrible you are feeling? I know that
Jason has hurt you Robin. You need a night out. And I do expect you to find some
handsome guy and leave us alone.
Robin: I am not going to be good company Bren.
Brenda: I am worried about you Robin. You need to have some fun. Jax and I have
this little plan. We are going to work together to get you to have some fun. By
working together we will get closer to each other. So you see Robin you have to
come tonight. You promised to help me get Jax back.
Robin smiled at her.
Robin: All right. I will come tonight. But I will not enjoy myself. (Brenda
frowns at Robin) At first. As you two work together I will slowly start having
fun. All right?
Brenda Smiles.
Brenda: That's better. Now lets find you the perfect dress for tonight.
Brenda and Robin search Robin's closet for her dress. Several hours later Jax
arrives. He waits until Brenda comes down the stairs. Jax comes up to her and
gives her a kiss.
Jax: You look great Brenda. So is Robin coming with us?
Brenda: Yes she is. I talked her into it.
They wait for a couple of minutes and then Robin comes down the stairs. She is
wearing a dress she bought in Paris. Jax came up to her.
Jax: WOW. You look beautiful Robin. Better watch out Brenda.
Robin: Your just saying that Jax.
Jax: No I am not. I am lucky to have Port Charles' two most beautiful women as
my dates.
Jax takes Robin and Brenda's arms and takes them to the limo. They arrive at the
ceremony. As they get out of the Limo the photographers focus on Brenda and Jax.
Robin was off to the side watching them. She was feeling lonely. She looks at
the stage and sees AJ who is also there alone. He comes up to her.
AJ: No date either.
Robin: Nope. How is Keesha?
AJ: She is staying with her father. She sent me a goodbye letter.
Robin: I am so sorry AJ.
AJ: Thanks. Would you mind if I stayed with you? We look like we can use the
company.
Robin: Sure AJ.
AJ takes Robin's arm and leads her to the stage. She sits down. She notices
Carly and Jason arrive. She has to watch as Jason and Carly act like a couple.
They take their seats. The ceremony begins.
As Robin and the others watch the speeches they don't notice the sniper on the
roof of a nearby building. He was being paid to shoot a young woman attending
the event. He got his riffle and starts pointing it at the crowd. He looked
though the sight at the many women attending the event. He saw many beautiful
women wearing low cut gowns. As a man he was attracted to them. But he knew that
he had a job to do. He aimed his riffle at his target. He aimed it at her chest
and waited for the perfect moment.
At that moment he fired a single shot. Through his site he saw her face feel the
pain as the bullet pierced her chest and saw the front of her dress stain with
her blood. He made a get away as she collapsed to the ground and the crown
started panicking.
As soon as the shots ended AJ got up and took a look around. He saw Jason and
his people and others pointing their guns at the spot where the shot came from.
He was looking to see if everyone was all right. It was then he noticed the
woman lying on the ground. He rushed beside her and turned her around. He was
scared when he saw her face.
AJ: ROBIN!
AJ looked at the wounded Robin and prayed that she was still alive.
