Chapter 2
AJ was enjoying the docks project signing ceremony. It was one of his projects
at ELQ. He was one of the few people that were enjoying the speeches. His night
was suddenly spiked by him hearing a single shot.
As soon as the shot was fired AJ got up and looked around. The first thing he
noticed was Emily being worked on. At first he thought that she was shot but all
she had was a cut. AJ then noticed Robin lying on the ground. He rushed beside
her and saw her chest covered in blood. AJ was relieved when he saw that her
wound was not over her heart. To his untrained eye it looked like that she was
shot in the lung. He knelt beside her. He used his jacket to apply pressure to
her wound. Robin opened her eyes and saw AJ over her.
Robin: Am I dying AJ?
AJ: No Robin you are not going to die. I will not let you die on me Robin.
Robin: It hurts AJ. I have seen people shot before but I never realized how
painful it is.
AJ: I am sorry Robin. But it is the only way to help you.
Robin: I know. I am grateful for your help AJ.
While talking to Robin AJ could hear Brenda in the distance. Brenda was trying
to go toward her best friend. But Jax was holding her back.
Jax: We should let AJ help her. Robin is a fighter she will be fine.
Brenda: it’s my fault Jax. I forced her to come tonight. If she dies I will not
be able to live with myself.
Jax: Listen Brenda Robin came tonight because she wanted to be here. This is not
your fault. It is Jason's. Robin was shot because of him.
Brenda: Please hold me Jax.
Jax and Brenda hold on to each other. Over by a nearby Limo. Tess was being held
by Mac and Felicia. They know that a shot was fired.
Mac: We have you Tess. Tell me what’s going on. Why do you want Jax dead?
Mac is surprised when Tess laughs.
Tess: You found the false files Mac. I wanted you to think that Jax was the
target. But it was a cover so I can kill my real target for my boss.
Mac: Who Tess. Who is the target?
Tess: Robin Scorpio, your niece. My employer wanted me to kill her.
Felicia: Who hired you to kill Robin.
Tess: Sure. You will be dead soon. My employer was…
Suddenly a second shot is fired. Mac is surprised when Tess is hit in the heart.
Mac is angry when Tess dies in front of her. He knows that without Tess he will
ever catch the person who wants Robin dead.
Felicia: Let’s check on Robin.
Mac and Felicia come up and see the wounded Robin. They are shocked when the see
AJ holding onto Robin. AJ notices Robin trying to speak to him.
Robin: AJ there is something I must tell you before I die.
AJ: Your not dying Robin.
Robin: It feels like it AJ. Before I die I must tell you that I have been
keeping a secret from you,
AJ: What is it Robin.
Robin: Carly has been lying to you AJ. You are Michael's father not Jason.
AJ looks at Robin in shock as she tells him that he is Michael's father.
