Chapter 7
On his way to see Robin AJ was stopped by Jake who told him that he had the
results of the DNA test. They headed off to an empty room. After locking the
door to the room Jake asked AJ if he was ready to hear the results. AJ told him
that he was. Jake opened the envelope and read the results.
Jake: The results of the DNA test say that there is a 99.9% possibility that you
are Michael's father.
AJ: Carly has been lying to me. She and Jason have been keeping my son away from
me.
Jake: Although you didn't tell me to I also did a comparison of Jason and
Michael.
AJ: And?
Jake There is 100% possibility that Jason is not the father.
AJ: Thank you. I will not let Carly keep me away from my son. And Jason. I can
never forgive them for that.
Jake: What about Robin? She knew about it.
AJ thought about it for a few seconds.
AJ: When Robin told me I got so angry that I pushed down on her wound. She
moaned in pain. But Robin is a victim of this just like me.
Jake: I don't think that she is.
AJ: I think that Jason gave her no choice. Robin loves Jason and probably feared
that if she told me then he would leave her. I saw her tonight before the
shooting. I saw a sad young woman. She came with Jax and Brenda. But when Jax
and Brenda were mobbed by reporters she was alone. I asked her to join me. She
smiled then and joined me. Soon after I saw her on the ground with a bullet
wound in her chest. I am hurt that Robin never told me but I do forgive her for
that.
Jake: So what are you going to do now?
AJ: Get my son away from them. I will sue for custody.
Jake: Are you sure that you want your family to raise him? You have told me what
it is like to be a Quartermaine.
AJ: I will protect him. He is my son Jake. I want to be part of his life.
Jake: All right.
AJ: Excuse me. I want to see Robin.
Jake: You can't see her yet.
AJ: Why?
Jake: She has an infection. Dr. Quartermaine has stated no more visitors for
today.
AJ looks at Jake. Jake notices how worried AJ gets.
AJ: Is it serious?
Jake: No. It is very common. She just needs some rest.
AJ: Thank god. Then I can take care of some other business. Bye Jake.
AJ then leaves. Jake watches him leave.
Jake: You’re in love with Robin, AJ. I wish you luck. We deserve some happiness.
Jake then looks at a picture of Danielle. Jake heads back to work. AJ head back
to the mansion. After getting a file from his room he leaves again. He heads to
Jason's penthouse.
