Chapter 18
The day after Jason came back with Carly Lucky was on his way back to the
penthouse. Lucky had arranged with one of Jason's guards to be called when he
came back to town. As Lucky arrived back at the penthouse he noticed an upset
Emily leaving the building. He comes up to her.
Lucky: EM?
As Emily walks out she is surprised to see Lucky. She comes up to him.
Emily: What are you doing here Lucky?
Lucky: I am here to see Jason. How is he doing?
Emily: He is upset over Robin. But Carly…
Lucky: What about her?
Emily: She is your cousin Lucky. Do you really want to hear this?
Lucky looks at Emily in shock.
Lucky: We are close friends Em. You can tell me anything.
Emily: Are we?
Lucky: Are we what?
Emily: Friends. We have hardly seen each other in the past couple years. We used
to be so close but now. We see each other in the halls but we never talk.
Lucky: I know. It’s my fault. I have been ignoring you. I am sorry for that.
Emily: I am sorry to. I have missed you Lucky. I remember the good times we used
to have. Remember when we ran way together?
Lucky: yeah it was great. So are we friends again?
Emily: Yeah. (Emily and Lucky hug) So why are you here to see Jason?
Lucky: Robin asked me to give Jason Stone's ring.
Emily: How?
Lucky: Liz and I found Robin. Before she died she asked me to give Jason the
ring.
Emily: Oh my god. You found Robin. How was she?
Lucky: She was brave. She knew what was happening to her. So how have you been?
Emily: All right. I can't believe that Robin is dead.
Lucky: I know. I heard that you and Nikolas are close?
Emily: I like him. But he cared for Robin. I didn’t want to make a move. If I do
then Nikolas might be angry. I know that you don't like him.
Lucky: We made peace after Robin's funeral. He is a good guy. If you care for
him then make a move. Don’t let someone else take him.
Emily: I didn’t know. I saw Carly with Jason. I see her trying to use Robin's
death to try to get Jason. She acts like she is upset but I know that she hated
Robin and is using it to get Jason. I don't to be like Carly. I don't want to
use Robin to get Nikolas.
Lucky: Robin would understand. She cared for both Nikolas and Jason. And she
knew that you care for Nikolas. So she will understand if you try to get
Nikolas. You two would be good for each other. Don't wait to long Em.
Emily: I need to get back to the house. Thanks for talking to me Lucky. Maybe we
can have lunch together. As friends?
Lucky: Looking forward to it.
Lucky and Emily leave. Lucky heads into the building. He arrives at Jason’s
penthouse.
