Chapter 20: Expect the Unexpected
Lizzie: Why not?
Henry: You just can't, why won't you except that?
Lizzie: You're not making any sense.
Henry: No, just except it. You are not coming over for dinner tonight.
Lizzie: I think your being a little unfair.
Henry: Unfair how?
Lizzie: Come on, I really want to meet them.
Henry left the counter and picked up the dishes from the table and headed back.
Henry: *passing by Lizzie* No. *goes into kitchen.
Lizzie: *Lizzie begins to follow him* Henry... *loud crash*
Lizzie goes into kitchen and see Henry lying on the floor, the dishes smashed
nearby. Henry reached up for his head, groaning.
Lizzie: What happened?
Henry: I slipped on something. Ah, my head!

Jax dialed V's number on the phone, but got no answer.
Jax: Where are you?
Jax hung up and then heard a knock on the door. He hoped it was V, he had been
trying to get a hold of her all week. When he did get a hold of her, she said
she was too busy to talk, apparently someone hired her for a case and he had a
good idea who that somebody was.
He answered the door to see the last person he expected.
Jax: Miranda?
Miranda: Jax we need to talk.
Jax started to close the door: Just leave me alone.
Miranda pushed the door back open and walked into the room.
Miranda: Jax, there's something I need to tell you.
Jax: Look, I listened to everything you had to tell me already. I already
talked to Brenda about the incident in the cave, and even though we've broken
up, there's still no chance for us.
Miranda: This has nothing to do with that Jax. I haven't been completely honest
with you.
Jax looked at her with curiosity.
Jax: Exactly what haven't you been honest about, Miranda?
Miranda: Well just that, my name isn't Miranda... it's Natasha.
Jax: What?
Miranda: My name is Natasha, Miranda Jameson is not my real name.
Jax: Well... that's… that's certainly something new.
Miranda: I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth.
Jax: Exactly, why didn't you tell me the truth?
Miranda: It was too dangerous to use my real name Jasper-
Jax: Dangerous? What is this all about Miranda or whatever the hell your name
is?
Miranda: Have you heard of Helena Cassadine?
Jax: Yes, she's Stefan Cassadine's mother, why?
Miranda: Well my mother and Mikkos Cassadine, my father, had an affair. Helena
killed my mother because of it and wanted me dead too for being her husband's
lovechild. My uncle, Quinn Cassadine, protected me and advised me to use a
different name.
Jax: And how come you haven't told me any of this before?
Miranda: I told you, it was too dangerous to use my real name.
Jax: And how come you're telling me this now?
Miranda: Helena knows I'm still alive. I decided to tell you now because you
deserve to know the truth, before something bad happens to me. I hope you can
forgive me for not telling you the truth, but I did what I had to do. I have to
go tell Mac now.
Jax: How long are you going to be here in Port Charles?
Miranda: For awhile. I'm going to be at Wyndemere. Good bye Jax.
Miranda left, leaving Jax to think. This was quite a lot to take in.

Dr. Newman: Dr. Jones, you are the father of Ms. Robert's child.
Carly gave a sigh of relief, AJ looked away with slight disappointment in his
eyes and Tony just stood there expressionless.
Tony: Thank you, Dr. Newman.
Dr. Newman left and Carly hugged Tony.
Carly: Oh Tony, we're going to have a child together.
AJ looked at her like she was a little delirious. Tony lightly pushed Carly off
him.
Tony: Carly, could we just go home now?
Carly: *disappointment on her face* Sure, Tony.
Tony: Good.
Tony left Carly and AJ alone. Tears started to stream down Carly's face.
Carly: He hates me.

Henry: It's just a bump on the head, it's no big deal!
Sally stood nearby while Karen looked at him.
Karen: It's a good idea to get it checked out, just in case.
Henry: Mom, this really wasn't necessary.
(Keep in mind I am not a doctor)
Karen: Well, it appears that there is nothing wrong with your son. My advise is
to take some Aspirin, put an ice pack on that bump, if he still has headaches by
Tuesday then you should bring him in.
Sally: Thank you.
Henry: Great, can we go now?
Sally: Okay Henry, thank you Dr. Wexler.
Henry gets up, hand on the back of his head, and walks out of the room, his
mother following him.
Karen straitens stuff out and walks out to see Joe standing at the door.
Joe: We need to talk about the other night.

Carly stood by the entrance, waiting for Tony to pick her up.
Nearby, Henry and Sally were also walking out.
Sally: You stay here, I'll get the car.
Henry: Mom, I am perfectly capable of making it from here to the car.
Sally: Just stay here.
Henry: Fine.
Sally left Henry alone to stand there.
Henry: Unbelievable.
Henry looks in Carly's direction and sees her leaning against the wall. He looks
at her with wonder, realizing that he has seen her somewhere else before.
He takes a few steps closer and she looks at him. At first strangely, then with
wide eyes, realizing who he is.
Carly: Henry?
Then it hits him.
Henry: Caroline!
