Part 1: Just The Beginning
Venus dragged her suitcase up the stairs, after being welcomed by an entire
flock of Ardanowskis. She went into her old room and tossed it onto the bed.
It has been awhile since she's been in her old room. Venus was back at her old
house for her nephew's 1st birthday party. Jack had been bugging all the family
to come to it, and everyone, except cousin Jessi, who was in Japan for the year,
had shown up. Venus lay down on the bed and relaxed after her long trip there.
She picked up her phone and called Port Charles.
Jerry: Hello?
V: Hey, Jerry, it's V.
Jerry: Venus, I thought I ordered you not to call here.
V: I know, I just wanted to make sure you didn't need anything else. If you need
me to do any work, you could just fax it-
Jerry: No, no, no, no, no… This is your vacation time, you're going to use it.
V: Okay, fine…
Jerry: So, how's your family?
V: I just got here, but from what I can tell, they're doing pretty well.
Jerry: Everything setup for little Patrick's party.
V: Yup. Jack and Molly have everything setup for tomorrow.
Jerry: Well, have a fun time. Be sure to take pictures… I wanna be sure you've
been following orders and have been relaxing.
V: Don't worry, I will. I'm meeting some friends later… Now that you've asked
me everything, how are things going on your end?
Jerry: Same old, same old. Gotta go, talk to you when you get back.
V: Bye.
V. hung up and smiled. Jerry was a very good friend of hers and it was nice how
he wanted her to take some time for herself. Of course, since Jax went to
prison, Jerry fell behind on some stuff and V. had to do double work, which
tired her out a lot. Venus sat up and thought about Jax. At one time she wanted
him so badly, but that didn't work out. Then they were friends… good friends…
one of the best relationships she has had in her life but now she didn't have
that friend anymore. Venus stood up and left the room to catch up with her
family members. She wondered if any of them had any stories that could top hers
since she's been in Port Charles. Drug investigations, running to Tiger Key,
having a friend turned psycho… Now that she thought about all the stuff, she
realized this was a well-deserved vacation. She should live it up.

Emily opened the door and saw Xavior lying on his bed. He opened his eyes when
he heard someone entering his room. His eyes darted right at Emily.
Emily: I'm sorry, I'll come back…
Xavior: No, wait… What are you doing here?
Emily: I… I came to see how you were doing.
Xavior: I'm doing fine.
Emily: Good. Look, Xavior, about what happened… I didn't mean for you to… I
mean, I…
Xavior: I know. You were just trying to stop us from fighting. At first I was
rather upset when I woke up, but I have been informed that you have been
visiting me regularly. You would not be visiting if you were not sorry for your
deed.
Emily: I'm sorry for what I did, if there is any way I can make up for it…
Xavior: Do not worry about it. I will be all right.
Emily: Good… I'll leave you alone now. Bye.
Emily left Xavior alone.

Jerry was sitting at a table in Luke's looking over a file. In this file, there
were pictures and papers on a mansion in Greece. Finally, the man he wanted to
see sat down across from him.
Luke: All right, Jacks, I'm here, now what was so important?
Jerry slid the file over to Luke.
Jerry: This file includes pictures and notes about a mansion in Greece
previously owned by Mikkos Cassadine.
Luke: This involved me how?
Jerry: It's no secret that you are an enemy of Helena Cassadine. I thought we
could help each other out. I need to know Helena's weaknesses to insure my
daughter's safety. All I need you to do is fly to this mansion and see what you
can find.
Luke: Why me?
Jerry: You know the Cassadines, you know what to look for.
Luke thought about this for a second. He would like to know if any more
skeletons are in the vampire’s closet himself and Lizzie was a very close friend
of his son.
Luke: All right, but let's get one thing strait… I don't take orders from you.
Jerry: I never expected you to.
Luke: I'll go tomorrow night.
Luke gets up.
Jerry: No.
Luke: Excuse me?
Jerry: My assistant is currently on vacation, but when she gets back in a few
days I would like her to go with you. She is a tad on the clumsy side, but she
is very good at detective work.
Luke: Fine, whatever. Now, excuse me, I got a business to run.
Luke picked up the file and headed for the backroom. Jerry got up from his
table and looked at his watch. He had a date soon with Patty Loomis. He and
Alexis did go out a few times, but decided, mutually, that they would be better
as friends. Jerry left Luke's and headed back for his apartment.

Jason arrived home to find Carly watching TV.
Jason: Hello, Carly.
Carly didn't respond. Jason looked at her and realized she was deep in her own
thoughts.
Jason: Carly?
Carly snapped out of it and looked at him and smiled.
Carly: Hey, Jase.
Jason: Is something wrong?
Carly: Well… not wrong, it's just…
Carly turned off the TV.
Jason: Just what?
Jason sat down next to her.
Carly: My mother is coming to town soon. Virginia called earlier and told me.
Jason: Oh… You don't want her to?
Carly: No, it's not that. I just… what is it going to be like? Things are so
messed up now, she knows everything.
Jason: How did she sound when she told you?
Carly: She sounded like she was coming in peace.
Jason: Then things will probably be all right, Carly.
Carly: Right… I'm sure you're right. So, when is that business meeting of
yours?
Jason: It was cancelled.
Carly: Oh, cancelled? So what are you going to do instead?
Jason: Nothing, I guess I have the rest of the night free. Why, you have any
ideas?
Carly grinned.
Carly: Oh… I have a few.
Jason smiled as Carly moved up to him and started kissing him. Jason picked her
up and went to their room. There, he laid her down on the bed and started
nibbling on her neck as Carly started unbuttoning his shirt.
