Chapter 25
When the plane landed in Greece John and Robin were met my Stefan and Nikolas.
After they greeted each other Nikolas and Robin left together. Soon after
leaving Stefan and John spoke about Robin. After speaking John asked Stefan to
do him a favor.
Stefan: What is it?
John: When I found out that Robin was HIV positive I setup a foundation to fund
research on HIV. I am not going to let Robin die from this. I want you to take
over the research project.
Stefan: Of course John. I will make sure that the project goes on after you. I
will do everything in my power to see that a cure for Robin's HIV is found.
John: Thank you Stefan.
Stefan: Anna was very special to me. I will do anything for her daughter. Robin
will be treated as my own daughter. Anything she will ever need will be provided
for her.
John: That would be great. You should know that Robin has asked Luke to be her
advisor.
Stefan: I don't like Spencer.
John: I know that. And I understand why you don't like him.
Stefan: Even though I don’t like him I do understand why Robin does like him.
And I must admit that Spencer is an appropriate choice to advise Robin.
John: I am shocked Stefan. You’re willing to work with Luke.
Stefan: I must admit that Luke does care for Robin. And I also care for her. We
can both work with each other for Robin.
John: So how are you doing my friend?
Stefan: I still miss her.
John: I heard about Katherine Bell. I am so sorry. You understand why I couldn’t
be there for you.
Stefan: I know. Your letter helped.
John: I am glad. You have done a great job with Nikolas.
Stefan: Nikolas is great. I am so proud of him.
John: You should be. You have been an excellent father. I just wish that you
could tell him that.
Stefan: You know why I can't tell.
John: Anna and I promised that we would never tell. And I will never tell.
Stefan: I know. We should go over the agenda for the meeting before the others
arrive.
Stefan and John head inside the house and talk. Meanwhile Robin and Nikolas are
walking. They sit on a bench overlooking the water. They talk.
