Chapter 26
Robin and Nikolas were sitting together over looking the water. The two of them
were talking about Robin's taking over the Dover Organization. They were about
to kiss when Stefan came up to them.
Stefan: I would like to speak to Robin.
Nikolas: I will leave you two alone.
Stefan: You can join us Nikolas.
Stefan heads back to the house. Robin is about to join them when Nikolas asks
her to stay for a minute. He then comes up to her and gives her a quick kiss.
Robin smiles at him.
Nikolas: Sorry that it was so quick. But next time…
Robin: It was fine Nikolas. I think that we should head back to the house.
Nikolas: I just want to stay here with you.
Robin: Next time we will come here alone.
Nikolas gives Robin a smile. He puts his arm around Robin. They head up to the
house together. They come up to Stefan.
Stefan: I am glad that you are here Robin. John and I have been talking about
you.
Robin: What about me?
Stefan I have agreed to help take care of you. You would be treated as a member
of this family.
Robin: You want me to treat me as a member of your family. But our family
doesn't have a good history together.
Stefan: My family hasn't had a good history with your father. But I did know
your mother. And I am doing this for her.
Robin: You knew my mother?
Stefan: We are old friends. It is a long story.
Robin: I would like to hear it if you don’t mind.
Stefan agrees to tell Robin the story.
