Chapter 7: Going back
Emily watched as Lucky ran his fingers through his hair.
“What? Emily is this some sort of a joke?” he asked.
“No, Liz is in the hospital, I came to find Sarah to sign the papers, so that
Liz can have surgery.”
Lucky sits down. “You’re telling me the truth?” he asked, looking down. “This
can’t be, I just watched a report, and Sarah said that they found a body
matching her description.”
“Lucky, I knew this would happen.” Emily started to walk out of the restaurant.
“I have to go find Sarah.”
“Emily!” Lucky called. Emily turned around
“Yeah?”
“I would know if you were lying, you wouldn’t lie to me about this would you?”
he asked.
“Lucky, Elizabeth was my friend as well, I’m not going to lie to you saying that
she’s alive. You decide if you want to believe me or not, but right now, I have
to talk to Sarah.” Emily looks at Lucky one last time and heads off out of the
restaurant bumping into someone. “Sorry, about that.” Emily fixes her shirt. She
looks up to see Sarah Webber giving her a hand.
“Emily?”
“Sarah, thank God I’ve found you!”
“Em, what’s wrong?”
“I need your help Sarah.” she paused. “Your sister is alive.”
“What?” Sarah asked. “Is this some kind of sick joke?”
“Sarah, its not a joke. Your sister is dying at the hospital, and if you don’t
come down and sign the papers, you may have a reason for her funeral.” Emily
said sternly.
“Lizzie…she’s alive?” Sarah asked, tears filling her eyes.
“Sarah, lets go, we don’t have time.”
“Okay, I’ll go.” Sarah smiled. “Derek left for home, so I guess it’ll be all
right.” She and Emily headed out of the restaurant.
Lucky just sat there in shock. ‘I have to see this’ he got up and exited Kelly’s
running to his car.

Luke and Lulu returned home. Luke didn’t want to face Laura, but this was their
daughter. He took a couple of breaths and rang the doorbell. Moments later,
Laura Spencer answered the door.
“Luke, Lulu!”
“Mom, I’m sorry.” Lulu ran to her mother’s arms.
“Its okay. Just don’t do it again.” She laughed.
Lulu pulled away. Luke stared at Laura coldly. “Hello Laura.”
“Hey, Luke.” She smiled.
“You’ll never believe what your son did.” Luke laughed bitterly.
“What?” Laura asked, detecting the look on Luke’s face.
“He kidnapped Elizabeth Webber on an island in Greece. Then when she tried to
escape, he killed her.” Luke said, crossing his arms.
“What?”

At the hospital…
Emily and Sarah raced inside the hospital.
“Where’s my SISTER?!” Sarah cried to one of the interns.
“Who’s your sister?” he asked.
“Elizabeth Webber!” Sarah screamed.
“She’s dead, didn’t you hear that report…are you Sarah Webber?” he asked,
causing Sarah to get annoyed.
“Yes, I’m wasting my time here! Tell me where Lizzie is now!”
“Sarah, calm down!” Emily said. “She’s in the intensive care unit.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” Sarah asked, panting.
“Sarah, you were too busy screaming at that intern to even notice me.” Emily
said. “Lets go!”
Sarah and Emily raced over to find Bobbie. When they couldn’t, they headed down
to the ICU.

Lucky drove over to the hospital. ‘Can this be happening?’ he asked himself. He
got out of the car and ran inside the hospital. He spotted his aunt talking to
Dr. Joe Scanlon.
“Aunt Bobbie.” He said.
Bobbie turned around and smiled as she saw Lucky standing before her. “Lucky!”
she smiled, giving him a hug.
“Emily, she said something about Elizabeth.” He stated.
“Yes, this is the doctor that’s treating her.” She pointed to Joe.
“Oh, then what’s her condition?”
“We don’t know yet, I’m going over there right now, you want to come?” Joe
asked.
“Yeah, sure.” Lucky smiled. ‘Elizabeth is alive!’ he cried to himself. ‘Its a
miracle’

“Where’s the doctor?” asked Sarah.
“I don’t know, lets go see Liz.” Emily walked inside the ICU and looked for Liz.
She found her and saw that she looked so weak. Sarah followed from behind and
cried when she saw Liz.
“Oh, my God!” she cried. “Lizzie’s alive.”
“I told you!” Emily smiled. “No one believed me, how could you think I’d make a
joke about this?”
“I’m sorry Em, I was just so confused when you told me.” Sarah looked down.
“I think we should get out of here.” Emily suggested, “At least until the doctor
comes in.”
“I think you’re right.” Sarah smiled. As she started out of the ICU, Lucky and
Joe come in.
“Are you the doctor?” Sarah asked.
“Yeah, I’m treating Elizabeth Webber.” he explained.
“Good, I’m Sarah Webber, I’m her sister.” Sarah explained.
“Great, here are the papers you need to sign, we should get the results of the
x-rays in just a few minutes.” He hands Sarah the papers for her to sign.
“Thank you.” Sarah smiled.
“So, will Elizabeth be okay, if we’re here?” Lucky asked.
“She’s not awake, so I guess it’ll be okay, it would be wise to have one visitor
at a time.” Joe said cautiously. “I have to go get the x-rays, I’ll be back
soon.” Joe said, as he headed out.
“Sarah, lets go.” Emily took Sarah’s hand.
“Wait, Emily she’s my sister.” Sarah said.
“Lucky is the one who suffered the most.” Emily whispered.
“Fine, I guess you’re right.” Sarah smiled and looked at Lucky. “Lucky, you can
visit Liz first alright?”
“Are you sure Sarah?” Lucky asked.
“Yeah, we’ll be outside signing these papers.” Sarah held up the papers and
smiled.
Lucky watched as Emily and Sarah left the ICU. He started to walk over to see
where Liz was. It wasn’t that hard, yet he saw her so different. Her hair was so
long, she looked so frail and fragile. He was afraid that if he touched her, she
would break.
“Elizabeth? Can you hear me?” Lucky asked, going to her side, holding her hand
gently. He looked at her hands. They were dirty, and bruised. He noticed the
ring on her finger. He held her hand up and looked at it. ‘Don’t tell me.’ Lucky
said to himself. He gently slid the ring off and looked at it. He read the
inscription.
“To Elizabeth Webber, my princess now and forever love…” Lucky noticed the name
was scratched out.
Suddenly, Liz started to stir. Lucky gently brushed a stray hair from her face,
and noticed her eyes gently opening.
“Elizabeth?”

and Nikolas.
*Liz asks Joe if he can help her.
*Sarah, Emily, and Lucky receive bad news on Liz's condition.
