Chapter 13
Robin and Troi were in the living room of Brenda and Robin's cottage. Robin and
Troi had talked about Robin's meeting with Stefan over Helena. Troi noticed that
there was something unusual about Robin. She asked her about it. Robin and Troi
sat down and talked about it.
Troi: Are you going to tell me what is it Robin?
Robin: Its Nikolas Cassadine. He is Helena Cassadine's grandson. He was shot in
a shootout outside of a local club. I was able to help him speak again. We got
close.
Troi: You’re in love with him.
Robin: I don't think I am.
Troi: You are in love with him Robin. I can see the signs. You are in love with
two men.
Robin: And I have to hurt one of them. When I am with Nikolas I feel so
comfortable. Its like we are the same person. We have so much in common.
Including a connection to the 24th century. But I will always love Jason. We
have this bond.
Troi: You broke up with him.
Robin: He almost died in front of me. I couldn't lose him like I have lost so
many people. So I attended starfleet Academy. But I never stopped living him.
But now I have the same feelings for Nikolas.
Troi: Do they love you?
Robin: Yes. I can see that they both care for me. Nikolas even told me that. And
Jason still loves me. The question with Jason is can I live in his world. I
couldn't before. And there is the issue of truth.
Troi: Truth?
Robin: With Jason I would have to lie to him. I can't tell him about my status
as a starfleet officer and I have to cover things up. But Nikolas knows
everything about me. I can tell him everything. What do I do Counselor?
Troi: Follow your heart Robin. Do what you think is right. You need to be near
Jason because of the secret room and because of Michael. But if you feel better
with Nikolas then you should be with him.
Robin: I should tell Nikolas what I feel and hear what he thinks.
The phone rings. Robin picks it up.
Mac: Its Mac. I should let you know that we found Jason and Brenda.
Robin: How are they?
Mac: They are fine. They are on their way to GH for a checkup.
Robin: I will see you there.
Troi: They found Jason?
Robin: Yes they did. I have to go and see them.
Robin and Troi leave for GH. Meanwhile Helena Cassadine is in the park. A
mysterious person comes up to her. Helena faces that person.
Helena: What is it? (She sees the person) What do you want?
Person: I am not going to let you threaten my plans with you being here in Port
Charles. SO I will give you one chance to leave town.
Helena: (laughs) What are you going to do to me?
The person reaches for a 24th century weapon. The person shoots Helena with it.
Helena falls to the ground and is declared dead.
Person: (Stares at Helena's body) You are a threat to the plans of the Romulan
Empire. The Starfleet people here must know about you. So you must die.
The person then leaves.
