Chapter 20
Robin arrived at the Enterprise briefing room. The bridge crew watched Robin
come in. Troi had just told them about Helena’s death. Robin and the others sat
down.
Picard: Lets get started. Deanna told us about Helena Cassadine.
Robin: As she told you, Helena had a burn on her chest. It looks like a low
level phaser blast. Which doesn't make sense.
Worf: Unless the person who killed her wanted the body found.
Data: The killer might not of known what they have.
Robin: I don't buy that. If the victim was some random person maybe. But someone
somehow finds a Phaser and then kills Helena who is from the same time as the
weapon. What are the odds Data?
Data: 2,800,500,786.7896643234 to 1.
Robin turns to Troi
Robin: Is he always that exact?
Troi: Yes.
Riker: So she was targeted. Could be this Luke Spencer I read about.
Robin: Luke would kill her. But I don't see how he can get his hands on a
phaser. And usually if we kill people with a phaser in this time we set the
phaser to full power so there is no body to be found. You're right Worf. Someone
wanted the body to be found, but who?
Picard: Before we get to that what do we do about Helena's body. What is the
procedure for this Robin?
Robin: Usually the field historian would go to the police with WSB ID and take
over the case and take the body. But If I went to Uncle Mac and said that I was
WSB.
Riker: He would ask questions. What if I went to Commissioner Scorpio?
Robin: That would work. Dr. Crusher I think that you should examine the body.
Maybe we can figure out what kind of phaser killed her. It might be an important
clue. We need to find out who killed Helena. That might help repair the
timeline.
LaForge: Could the other Cassadines be in danger?
Robin: They could be. I am close to Nikolas Cassadine. I will keep an eye on him
and the other Cassadines.
Meanwhile Mac, V, Garcia and Taggert are searching Wyndemere. They open a desk
drawer. V finds something. She calls Mac over. When Mac comes over she shows Mac
a phaser.
