Chapter 27
Troi left Jason's cabin. She knew that Jason was worried about Robin. And he had
a lot of questions about where he was. But Troi couldn’t answer his questions.
She went into Nikolas' cabin. Nikolas noticed her.
Nikolas: How is Robin?
Troi: Dr. Crusher is working on her. All we can do is wait.
Nikolas: She can't die. I brought her here because I knew that she had the best
chance here instead of at GH.
Troi: She is alive. Dr. Crusher is an excellent doctor.
Nikolas: I love her. Although when this over I will lose her to Jason. Jason
will learn he truth and I will lose any chance I had.
Troi: Robin does care for you Nikolas. Even if Jason learns the truth it will
not change anything?
Nikolas: Of course it will. I had a part of Robin that Jason couldn’t have. He
had her 20th century life. But I have her 24th century part.
Troi: You were hoping that it would make Robin choose you over Jason.
Nikolas: Yes. But Jason will learn her 24th century connection.
Troi: Jason might learn the truth of her being from the 24th century. But he
will never know what that means. You do. You have a part of her that Jason can
never have. But she still cares for Jason.
Nikolas: I know. What happens to me?
Troi: You and Jason will remain here until we learn what happens to Robin. I
have to get back to the bridge.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Troi then leaves. Nikolas then goes into Jason's cabin. Jason notices him. He
gives Nikolas a hug. A few hours later Troi arrives for a meeting on the bridge.
Just before the meeting starts Troi notices Dr. Crusher come in. They start the
meeting.
