Chapter 50
When Carly arrived back at the penthouse her first priority was to take control
with the situation with Robin. She wanted her to know that she will fight for
what she wanted. And when she saw Robin with Sonny she took her chance. While
arguing with Robin she suddenly noticed that she was somewhere else. She looked
at Robin who was there and asked her what was going on. She noticed Robin
pointing to a spot. When she went there she realized that she was on the moon.
She looked at Robin. Robin confirmed that they were on the moon.
Carly: This must be a dream. I am not here.
Robin: You want to believe that it is a dream fine. But since we are here we do
need to talk. Would you like to sit down.
Carly: You expect me to sit down and talk to you on the moon.
Robin: We do need to talk Carly. If you don't feel comfortable here, then pick a
location.
Carly: I have always wanted to see Jupiter.
Robin: OK. (Suddenly Carly is blinded by a flashing light and she is on another
rock. She looks at Robin.) We are on IO it is a moon of Jupiter. Take a look.
Carly looks at the sky and sees Jupiter. She looks at Robin.
Carly: What are you? I want to go home and warn everyone about you.
Robin:(smiles) Who are you going to tell Carly. No one is going to believe you.
I am not going to hurt you. All I want is to talk.
Carly: Why should you want to talk to me. You got Jason. Why would you care
about me?
Robin: Because I have been you Carly.
Carly: What?
Scene 2: Enterprise.
Troi was on her way to the ready room. After the meeting Picard and Dr. Crusher
left for a meeting on there own. They have asked her to join them. Troi comes in
and joins them.
Picard: Come in Counselor. We needed to talk to you.
Troi: What about Captain?
Picard: Robin. Dr. Crusher and I believe that she knows more about this then she
is telling us.
Troi: She is hiding things Captain. But I think that it is about her Q half. I
believe that there are parts of that that are secret. And she will not mention
it just like we don't mention certain parts of ourselves. But it is not
dangerous.
Crusher: If that was all Deanna, that would be fine. But Robin was shot and
nearly died. A Q should have been able to avoid being shot. The Bullet should of
passed right though her. But when I treated her she was hurt.
Troi: Maybe she was using her powers to fool you.
Crusher: I saw Robin's face when she was brought in. She was in pain. This was
not faked Deanna.
Picard: There is more going on here Deanna. And we need to know what is going
on. And since you know her best it would be better if you ask.
Troi: All right. I will go see her.
As Troi makes arrangements to see Robin, Carly looks at Robin. She asks what did
she mean.
Robin: You hate me because I have Jason who should be with you right?
Carly: That’s right. What do you know about that Ms. Perfect.
Robin: When I was younger I had a crush on Jason. But he was in love with Karen
Wexler. He wanted to be my friend but I was in love with him. I had to watch him
and Karen being happy together while I had no one. Sounds familiar?
Carly: So you do know what it is like. That is good to hear. It is nice to see
you are not perfect.
Robin: I hate that. I hate being called perfect. I am a human being. All I am is
who I am. Jason understands that.
Carly: Jason seems to accept us for who we are. Is that why you hate me?
Robin: Yes. I see a lot of me in you.
Carly: What. I am nothing like you.
Robin: We are a lot alike Carly. We both found our real families in Port
Charles. And you are where I was before the accident. You are Jason's friend
while he is with me. I was there Carly.
Carly: And you are afraid that I will end up like you and have Jason.
Robin: Yes. You know we need to accept each other as part of Jason's life. Can
you do that for him?
Carly: Yes.
Carly and Robin shake hands. Robin returns them to earth. Robin then arranges to
have Carly remember the talk but not the moon and IO parts of it. She then tells
Sonny not to ask questions. She then leaves for the Cottage. When she arrives
she sees Troi there.
Robin: Deanna. What is it?
Troi: The Captain has asked me to see you. He wants to know if you are hiding
something. Are you?
Robin: There is something I haven't mentioned. I think I know what’s going on.
Troi: What is it.
Robin explains what is going on.
