Chapter 52
Robin and Troi were at the cottage talking about Robin's thoughts that there was
a new Q out there and that what was going on could be related to it. They
stopped talking when Brenda and Veronica came in. Brenda introduced Robin to
Veronica and went upstairs. As soon as Brenda left Troi called Veronica by her
real name Vash. Robin noticed that Vash and Troi knew each other. She asked what
was going on.
Troi: Vash is from the 24th century. She met Captain Picard on Risa. They had an
adventure together.
Robin: Captain Picard doesn't seem to be the type of person to take a vacation
on Risa.
Vash: He enjoyed himself Robin. Jean-Luc and I met again when there was a
conference on the Enterprise. I also met Q. He sent the crew and me back to
Sherwood Forest.
Robin: He put you into a Robin Hood story?
Troi: yes Captain Picard was Robin Hood and Vash was Maid Marian. Q was the
sheriff of Nottingham. The Captain rescued her. And then she took a trip with Q.
That was a couple of years ago. How did you end up here Vash?
Vash: I will explain what’s going on. But I need to know if Jean-Luc is here?
Troi: Yes. The Enterprise is in orbit.
Vash: I really need to see him.
Troi: All right.
Vash tells Brenda that she has to go. Vash, Robin and Troi head to the
enterprise. Meanwhile Commander Riker comes into Luke's. He decides that he
needs to relax. He sees a Beautiful blond sitting at a table alone. He comes up
to her.
Riker: Excuse me. Have we met before? You look so familiar.
Laura rolls her eyes when she hears this stranger trying to pick her up. But
when she looks at him he is struck by him.
Laura: You do look familiar. Maybe we met in LA.
Riker: No. But I have this feeling that in another life that we are married to
each other.
Laura: I know. I feel like that I should kiss you and show you our child. But
that’s impossible. I am all ready married to someone else.
Riker: So were married to each other. What else do you see?
Laura: We are both actors. We met while on a job. When we are so close I should
tell you my name. I am Laura Spencer.
Riker: William Riker. Nice to meet you Laura. Mind if I buy you a drink?
Laura smiles at him
Laura: For my “husband”? Why not.
Laura and Riker sit down and have a good time with each other. Meanwhile Robin,
Vash and Troi arrive on the Enterprise. They head to Picard’s Cabin. They arrive
outside the cabin.
Picard: Enter.
Picard notices Robin and Troi come in. He then sees Vash.
Picard: Vash!
Vash: Miss me Jean-Luc.
Picard: Yes. What are you doing here?
Vash explains.
