Chapter 57
Robin and the Bridge crew were discussing Elizabeth's role in history. They had
learned that Elizabeth's murder was the cause of the timeline change. While
talking about Q suddenly showed up. When Q showed up she came up to Q and
demanded an explanation of what’s going on. A sudden flash of light happened and
Robin and Q were on a strange planet. Robin looked around and knew right away
where she was even though she had never seen it before.
Robin: Lumina?
Q/Faison: That’s right Robin. I thought that we should hold our little talk
here. Since this place did bring us together for the first time.
Robin: We are not together. You represent the worse of us Faison. What you did
to Vash and Brenda. And now the whole human race.
Q: I am not responsible for the timeline change. I am using it for the new Q
test. But I am not the cause for it.
Robin: Why should I believe you?
Q: Because we are both Q's. And A Q will never lie to another Q. We will lie to
other races but never to each other.
Robin: Then explain what you did to Mom and Dad.
Q came up to Robin. Robin moved away from him.
Q: When I first met your mom there was something special about her. I wanted
her. She was the only human that I was ever attracted to. So I went after her.
But she picked Robert. I never knew that she was a Q until the ship. I offered
her powers. But she responded by using her powers on me. Her using her powers
caused the ship to explode and she and your father had to leave.
Robin: So you didn't know that she was a Q until then. So tell me you know about
the timeline change.
Q: I know what is causing it but you have to find the answers yourself. Robin
you are directly involved in this timeline and must restore it. When you solve
the mystery you will learn who the new Q is.
Robin: I don’t trust you Q.
Q: Let your Q half guide you Robin. Don’t let the human half of you deny the
truth of my words.
Robin: I will let the other Q's judge you not me. If you are lying they will
punish you.
Q: All right. I will leave now. You are a worthy Q Robin.
Q then leaves. Robin is about to leave when she sees Casey coming up to her.
Casey: Robin?
Robin: Hi Casey. I am glad that you made it home.
Casey: Thanks to you. I always knew that you were a child of the universe.
That’s why I came to you. I want to you to meet my family.
Casey takes Robin to his home and she meets his family. They talk for awhile.
Afterwards Robin returns to the Enterprise. They notice that she was gone for
only a few seconds.
Picard: What happened Robin.
Robin answers Picard’s Question.
