Chapter 63
Brenda was in the conference room listening to everyone talk about what was
wrong with her and her mother. Brenda was in shock when she was told that she
would die. She asked what was supposed to happen to her.
Robin: History has all ready reports how you are supposed to die.
Brenda: How does it happen?
Robin: It involves your death scene on the television show. In the scene your
character is shot. But a real gun is used instead of the prop gun.
Brenda looks at Robin.
Brenda: I am killed while doing the show. Do we know what happened?
Robin: It is an unsolved mystery. You go down in Hollywood history. But you
don't have to really die.
Picard: What do you mean Robin.
Robin: Brenda is shot and is thought killed on the movie set. But I can arrange
it so that everyone just thinks that Brenda is dead.
Brenda: I survive but everyone thinks that I am dead?
Robin: Yes. But for this to work nobody must know the truth beyond us. Everyone
else must think that you are dead.
Brenda: Jax has to think I am dead?
Robin: Yes Brenda. Jax has to believe that you are dead. He can never know the
truth.
Brenda: I don't like the idea of hurting him like this.
Robin comes up Brenda.
Robin: I know. But Jax will be hurt anyway. You will die for real. But this way
you can live in the future.
Brenda: I understand. What do I have to do?
Robin: You do nothing. You act normally. I will take care of it all.
Brenda: I understand.
Picard: Brenda, would you and Vash head back to a cabin. The rest of us need to
discuss some other matters.
Brenda: Yes dad.
Brenda and Vash head back to a cabin. The two of them talk.
