Chapter 71
Robin and Brenda talk about what life is like in the future. Robin told Brenda
the truth about Robin's HIV status. Brenda then told Robin her fears about
living in the future. Brenda then asked about Robin.
Robin: What about me?
Brenda: Will you be going back to the future. And what do you do?
Robin: I will go back sometime. My mom and dad live there.
Brenda: Your parents are alive? That’s great. I always wanted to meet them. And
what will you do?
Robin: I have a job. I am a Field Historian.
Brenda: What is a Field Historian?
Robin: My job is to keep an eye on the timeline. Make sure that everything is
supposed to be the way it is.
Brenda: That’s interesting. How do you do that?
Robin: I do whatever it takes. Making sure that everything happens the way it is
supposed to.
Brenda: And I don't belong here.
Robin: That’s right. This is not your time Brenda. You have always felt out of
place here. And now we know why.
Brenda: I am going to miss everyone.
Robin: And we will miss you.
The two of them hug. Several days pass. Robin and Brenda head to the TV studio.
