Buffy

Buffy the Vampire Slayer started just like a cheesy B-rated movie about a cheerleader who became a vampire slayer. Now, it's one of the most popular shows not only in the United States, but also in the United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, France, and most parts of Latin America. Even when open t.v. channels haven't been kind to her, Buffy has managed to get a lot of fans every Friday night in Fox Latinamerica at 8:00 p.m., followed by Angel at 9:00. Here are some of the sounds I've collected from seasons I and II.

I've been looking around for the cast of Buffy,
but they seem quite hard to find. Probably
because the series is not dubbed in Mexico City
but in Cuernavaca, some miles away. Kinda like
Sunnydale to L.A. but with more clubs.

Ethan Raynes, "Yes, it is truly so. I don't want to blow my own horn, but it is great. The enbodiement of be careful what you wish for." (Halloween)

   Some bits of trivias about the cast:

Kendra, the second slayer of the series, was voiced by Monica Manjarrez, better known in Mexico for her role as Fran Fine

In Season III, Buffy's voice was changed in the episode Helpless, the same week as the movie Cruel Intentions with Sarah Michelle Gellar hit the theaters.

Giles voice actor was also changed, at the beginning of Season IV, to be replaced by the same actor who did the voice for the Mayor in Season III. Spike's voice was also changed for Lover's Walk, and the actor has stayed on the role ever since.

The same cast who works in Buffy is working in Angel the series.

Xander's voice actor did Doyle's voice up till Heroes, then Penn's voice in Prodigal, and the Lawyer who gets killed in Blind Date, as well as many extras.

Oz' voice actor has also appeared a number of times in Angel as an extra.

Willow's voice actress did the voice of the girl who warns Doyle of her brother's dissapearance in "Heroes"
