Dark red eyes gleam
the tortured souls of thousands are seen
their screams and cries of terror rip through me
calling my tortured heart to join them
as i fall to my knees
i call to those i love
watching as they turn their backs on me
giving me to those eyes as they beckon me
no tears are shed
as my tortured soul joins the dead
