Many of you are probably thinking, "What is the point of this? I could go to some huge database with a ton of other artists and get publicity there."

Well, that's not the point.

S.Y.L.S.A. is a small (yet we would like to think "elite" tee hee) group of artists originating in New York. However, over the years, we've been expanding into other areas, through either friends, lovers, family, whatever, who have the same desire to share sincere art. Some of us have merged into other areas, most specifically computers, and poof (!) the idea for a site came up.

Amazingly, this place has molded into a tight group of regulars. These few people have been around at S.Y.L.S.A. since the very beginning, it seems. This is wonderful! The community is now larger! But nothing is ever good enough, is it? We need more! Fulfill the ego! Bring on the newcomers! Fresh blood and the ideas that accompany are always welcome.

It is YOUR involvement that keeps the site fresh and alive. Spread the word to your friends, welcome more faces in. The site can go nowhere, admittedly, without you to guide it.

So fine, you can submit your work to the big guys;
Or you can join our gang.. make some new friends, have fun, whatever you'd like.
Heck, we'll even mail you a virtual lollipop as a token of thanks.

So what was our point again?
Oh yeah.
