"Yeah..." Bo mumbled, "I cannot believe after all that, Ms. Strattman forbids us to go out on the slopes."
"We did break curfew though," Carson pointed out.
"Curfew smerfew. What else is there to do?" Bo muttered bitterly.
Shirley stood up and put on the song "Perhaps" by Doris Day.
"I love this song." She said looking at Bo, "And I think you owe me a dance!"
Bo looked at her in mock horror.
"The way you step on my feet? I have to continue dancing you know!"
Shirley laughed, as Bo stood up and took her arms, he instructed her as
they attempted to dance.
Carson and Alicia looked at each other.
"So..." Alicia said.
"You know what," Carson said suddenly, "I realized that I don't say much to you, and all of what I don't say gets interrupted so I'm just gonna tell you nothing right now."
Alicia looked at Carson oddly, but fully understood when his lips finally
met hers.
"Look at Carson and Alicia..." Shirley whispered. Bo looked and then
chuckled.
"They almost look as good as US." He joked.
"I wish I had signed up for ballroom dancing..." Shirley sighed. Bo perked up.
"There's always after the holidays. They always have dance registration.
We'd be in the same class... We could be partners." Bo offered.
"I think I will....." Shirley said smiling.
"I have to warn you though Shirley. The only thing you do at dance lessons is dance! There are no mysteries there. You just might be bored out of your wits!!!" Bo declared.
A playful smile formed on Shirley's mouth.
"You never know Bo.... we'll see...."
