Shirley had gotten six stitches in her forehead. The doctor said if it healed properly, chances of scarring were very slim. Becki was in juvenile detention for who knows how long. Nicole would keep Bo updated on it all.
Alicia, Carson, Bo and Shirley were all sitting at the dock, by the Redington River. Shirley rested her head on Bo's shoulder.
"It's so good that you guys are a couple again." Alicia announced, smiling as Carson slid his arm around Alicia.
"Yeah it is." Bo said happily. Shirley smiled.
"Hey, how's Nicole anyway?" she asked.
"Nicole's good. Actually, her mother found out where she was going and got in trouble. Becki was the one visiting everytime after the first visit. Her mother's life style has changed, according to Nicole. Despite the fact that her sister is crazy she's getting the whole normal thing going on. They're moving though. Nicole's going to be taking dancing lessons in her new town." Bo explained.
"Are you guys going to keep in touch?" Carson asked.
"Definitely." Bo said.
"It's been a strenuous past few weeks." Shirley observed.
"Definitely!" Alicia agreed, looking at her watch. "Oh God!!! I'm missing
Dawson's Creek! We've got to go!!!"
With that, Alicia ran ahead of the group.
"I'm gonna follow the dark haired one." Carson said, running after Alicia.
"My life's been one hectic soap opera. It'll be awhile before I lay my eyes on another Dawson's Creek episode." Shirley admitted.
"I know the feeling." Bo agreed. He took Shirley's hand as they walked slowly off the dock, the stars were right above them. Bo kissed Shirley.
"I missed you." He said.
"I missed you. At least now we can attempt a relitively calm existence." Shirley said, hoping things would go back to normal.
Whatever normal was.
The End
