PJ's Diary

                                                     Part 2!

Sorry this took so long to write, I've been really busy!

Dear Diary,

Well Maggs and I have moved into our new house, and now we are organising the final 
details for our
wedding which is tomorrow. Tonight I have my bucks night which was organised by Nick 
and Adam.
As well as those two the Boss is coming, and three of my mates from Melbourne are 
coming down, but
they won't tell me who they are. Maggs is having her hens party tonight with Chris, 
Dash, Zoe, and
some old school friends that are coming down for the wedding. Oh well, better go and 
get ready for the
big party.

Dear Diary,

Last night was a blast!! My three best friends from Melbourne, Joel, Brett and Pete 
were there, and
they decided to get me blind drunk, just for fun. The night was held in the main section of the bar
while Maggie's hens night was in the parlor separated from us. Her two friends there from school were
Jessica and Alexis and they did the same to Maggs as Brett, Joel and Pete did to me. That night we
were all so drunk that we had to go and sleep upstairs, except for Tom who was sober enough to go
home, and Zoe who was called to work earlier on in the evening. The only problem was there was only
four spare rooms for nine people, as Adam just stayed in his room, (Where he lives) and so did Chris.
Then Nick and Brett shared a room, (2 beds), Alexis and Jessica shared, (2 beds), Joel and Pete
shared, (2 beds), and Maggs and I shared a room, (1 bed). But then poor Dash didn't have anywhere to
sleep. So kind young Adam said Dash could sleep in his room. Then Chris came out with "Yeah, but
there's only one bed in there." "Exactly," Dash said to her walking into Adam's room closing the door.
Then Maggie suddenly came out with, "Gee, I wonder what's going to go on in there tonight," and she
said it with a cute little drunken giggle. After that we all went to bed and fell straight to sleep, all but
Adam and Dash, our room was right next o theirs! Then this morning we all needed one of Chris'
special concoctions for hangovers to make us feel better.

 

I am now with Brett, Joel, Pete, Adam and Nick in mine and Maggie's house, getting ready for the big
day. And while they're all getting changed I'm sitting here with cold feet. I don't know why I'm
worried, this is all I've ever wanted in my whole life, the day I've always waited for, marrying Maggs.
So why am I so worried. Anyway, I guess I'd better go and get changed, otherwise I'll be late!

Dear Diary,

Today was the best day of my life! I can't believe I ever had doubts about marrying Maggs. She looked
absolutely sensational in her dress and her hair beautifully done up with a few curls coming down in
the front. I also noticed something else from this whole experience, that weddings make love more
obvious to other people. I noticed this because Dash and Adam are now going out, and who knows
they might even end up like Maggs and I.

 

Mrs. Hasham and I are now in Perth, Western Australia staying in The Raddison Hotel is Scarbrough
overlooking a beautiful beach on a 35degreee day. Maggie is now getting changed into her bathers,
then we are going to go downstairs to the spa, (we are hoping that there is no-one in it.) Then we are
going to the beautiful beach for a nice relaxing swim. Here's Maggie now.

Gotta go.

Dear Diary,

PJ and I have had a fantastic two weeks over here in Perth. I can't believe that tomorrow is our last
day! Then it's back to work for a few months before I get off again for maternity leave. I've just
finished reading this (PJ's) diary, as he decided that since we're married we should share everything.
It's full of the last five or six years of his life. The entry he wrote on the day I arrived in Mt Thomas
was all about me. The fact that I shot Doeties dog, Floss, that I spat vodka all over him, and the fact
that he thought I was a really good cop. He also put that he felt something for me the second he saw
me on the highway four long years ago. In fact about 95% of this Diary is about me, when he thought
he lost me, when I had tick poisoning ,all he wrote about was how much he loved me, and that he
didn't ever want to lose me. Then were the entries when I was going out with Sean and Roman, they
were filled with heartache and jealousy. Then what had to be the longest entry he had ever written,
was when wee go out of the mine after being trapped in there for 48 hours. He wrote about how happy
he was that our relationship was going somewhere, and then how upset he was when I said that it
wouldn't be possible for us to go out and work together. Boy was I wrong! What he basically wrote
about was how much he loved me, and now I know what he means when he says, "I've been waiting
for this for so long." I wish I wrote a diary for my life, then he'd be able to see that I've felt the same
way about him for so long. He's asleep right now, because he was too hot to sleep last night, and he's
had a busy day. Anyway, I'd better go and wake him up, as it's time for some food.

 

MAGGIE

Dear Diary,

It's now about 11pm and Maggie's dead to the world, but I can't sleep because of the snooze I had this
afternoon, so I decided to write something in here. I just received a fax from Dash. Well, actually she
sent it this afternoon, but they only delivered it to our room about an hour ago. This is what is says:

To Mr and Mrs Hasham,

(God that sounds so formal doesn't it.) Anyway I have some news, and I have to tell you now, because
I can't wait until tomorrow. Well, thanks to you two Adam and I are getting married! Ah, I'm so
excited! Anyway, Maggie will you be my maid of honor? I hope you will! I'm so excited, I can't wait to
see you two, because I can't wait to see how married life is! 

Anyway better get going.

See you soon.

Love Dash!

 

Gee, I thought they might end up like me and Maggs but not this soon! Now all we have to do is set
Nick up with Zoe Hamilton and the Boss with, um,�. Got it!�Chris. Tom and Chris, Nick and Zoe,
me and Maggs and Adam and Dash! PERFECT!! Of course we'd have to let them know before we
made them all get married, and I'm not sure if some of them would like the plan!

 

I really want to wake Maggs up to tell her about Dash, but she looks so peaceful. Plus, she'll probably
be up before me, and she'll read this. It's so good knowing you can share all your secrets with someone,
and knowing that they won't tell anyone makes you feel even better! I guess that's the point in getting
married, and sharing a diary, to be part of each other!
