EPISODE 8 of 22

1.Steph and Dan have had a boating 'accident' and are missing.
2. Jake offers support in helping to find them, Steph in particular. "I'm just beginning to understand my dead brother's fatal fascination with the woman".
3. Bill and his wife are afraid that Tom and Sarah have committed incest, and Bill forbids Tom from seeing Sarah again
4. Phillip starts to have doubts about Jilly.
5. The search parties are going to stop looking for Steph and Dan, but miraculously Dennis finds Steph on the beach. She is dehydrated but she will be OK.
6. Jilly starts to be infuriated with Jake´s obsession with Steph. Jilly appeals to Jake to let her take control of Tara´s fashion house - Steph´s "pride & joy, her good luck charm, [what] gave her the power to take her revenge the first time". Jake says he'll think about it.
7. Steph regains consciousness, and asks for Dan. Dennis assures her that they are searching for him but the authorities have all but given up.
8. Bill sacks Cassie, accusing her of being part of Jake´s plot to take over Harper's Mining.
9. Tom flies to the island to be with Sarah.
10. Cassie threatens Jilly that she will reveal who helped to get Jake onto the board of Harper Mining. Jilly retaliates with threats that she will tell Dennis about Cassie's relationship with Jake.
11. Olive reveals to Jilly that Steph´s illegitimate son is still alive.
12. Jilly blackmails Bill by saying she will reveal the truth about Tom if he doesn´t allow her to take over Tara's.
13. Bill hands in his resignation to Jake.
14. Steph starts to accept that Dan must be dead. She goes for a walk, and throws a memorial bouquet of flowers in the water, when suddenly she sees a trail of footprints in the sand, which lead her to Dan.
15. Now back at Eden. Dan is in grave health but he will recover. Steph confesses to him she lost her chairmanship in Harper Mining and promises him she will devote more time to the family. Meanwhile at Harper Mining, Cassie asks Jake to give her back her job. He offers her instead control of Tara´s. She accepts it. In anger, Jilly reveals to Dennis Cassie´s relationship with Jake.
16. Bill comes to Eden to tell Steph the truth about Tom but at this moment Tom comes with Sarah and announces they have just got engaged. Bill wheezes "No! No you can't!" and suffers a heart attack, gasping to Steph with his last breath, "Tom is your son". Everybody exchanges stunned and horrified looks.
